Hotel was extremely nice, it was a pleasure having breakfast with someone playing the piano, it set the mood for the day, relaxing.

absolutely perfect location, [3rd time i have stayed there]. excellent for families travelling with children and a very nice breakfast to start your day with. waterbomb park right accross the road along with numerous ATM machines.

Great hotel , wonderful staff the only complaint was the limited menu in the restaurant

Beautiful and perfectly located hotel. I lived in thailand before for a long time so I knew that I wanted to stay near to siam sqaure for convenience of the things I wanted to do. I think this is the best hotel in this area.

We were greeted by friendly staff upon check in, and given a welcome drink. Hearing some guests mentioned free upgrade and we tried our luck and ask if there's any. Were offer 1700B/nite to upgrade to suite and with 2 breakfast (Usual 650B/pax). So we took up the offer and paid 5000B as deposit via credit card which was refunded when we checked out. Staff were always friendly and smiley. Impressed with their free tuk tuk service to MBK, SIam Paragon and Central World. They dont go to Platinum Mall though. Just need to tip the driver.. (we give 50B each time). Skytrain is just outside 2min walk. 10min walk to Siam Discovery Centre with a BIG NARAYA branch. I love it. And from there you can link to Siam Tower, Siam Paragon and cross over to Siam Sq. Doesnt feel that far if u shop along the way to Siam Sq and then cross over to MBK. Else just take the hotel Tuk Tuk. Only 1 Tuk Tuk btw. so you may have to wait about 20min if its just left with other guests. Sits about 3 pax max. Hotel breakfast was fine. They rotated their menu for the 2nites we stayed there and gave us some variety. We can see the pool from breakfast area. Pretty small and we didnt had time to visit the pool. We saw other hotels like Novotel Platinum and we think this is the place we will still come back when we visit BKK again. We love VIE HOTEL BANGKOK! :)

Could not fault the Swissotel - it was fantastic. Location is unbeatable.

It was my sister's birthday that weekend, and I'd booked a hotel staycation for us and mum to spend some time together. The check-in staff was extremely astute. Upon receiving our identification cards for registration, she immediately gleaned that it was my sister's birthday and on the quiet, she arranged for a birthday cake to be sent up to our room at a time of our convenience. Also, when she found out that we were mostly planning on staying in the room and watching DVDs (I'd asked if it was possible to borrow a player from the hotel, since our room didn't come with one) and she so kindly offered us a room upgrade to one that came with a DVD player since occupancy that weekend wasn't very high. The room was lovely, decorated with little Asian touches, which gave it a certain character compared to other regular hotel rooms. But other than the usual creature comforts, it really was the personal touch that made this hotel stand out for us, and that made all the difference.
