I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn Downtown Jackson, MS. I stay there often. Room is always clean. Very helpful staff and enjoy the continentaly breakfast.

Friendly staff, the shuttle is terriffice and a great convenience!

Would like to have known about the weekend festival taking place while we were there - it took us over 2 hours to get 10 miles down Hwy. 90 to the hotel due to the many, many, many people everywhere. It is a very nice place - somewhat pricey on the food.

So I travel to Columbus for work on several occasions. I have the option of staying at any hotel, and have chosen Wingate and Holiday Inn on seperate trips. Wingate not only beats Holiday Inn on price, but has much more to offer. 1.) Free breakfasts (Holiday Inn has a restaurant downstairs). 2.) Indoor Pool and Hot Tub. Holiday Inn only has outdoor pool which you cannot use in the Fall / Winter / Spring. 3.) Happy Hour 5-7pm. Beers, drinks, water, all on a cart downstairs for free. Wingate is my go-to hotel for Columbus, Mississippi trips. Downside: On my first stay, my room smelled of mold. My second stay my room was fine and clean. Hit or miss I guess, I could've asked to switch rooms.
