Met our needs for U of Chicago visit

Geplaatst op 20 okt. 2010
Another hotel guest had our room keys and let us in to our room! We had a good experience overall and would definitely recommend it. We had two small complaints: no blow dryer (and noone was around to deliver and it our toilet was loose!

Great neighborhood

Geplaatst op 6 mei 2010
This is a great place to stay if you are not looking for hotel service and you want an apartment/condo style housing option. The neighborhood is great. Lots of restaurant options in Hyde Park. And its a beautiful neighborhood as well. If you do not have a car and will be traveling around the city it might not be completely ideal if you are not familiar with Chicago already. Although there is public transporation very close by.

Not Exactly a Hotel - quirky and not in a good way

Geplaatst op 2 dec. 2009
This short-term residence should not be classified as a hotel. Although it does provide some of the amenities of a hotel, it did not have the feel or service of one. It is in the middle of nowhere (a rental car is a must) and service was minimal. (We couldn't get our television to work and there was no one around to help us.) We felt like we were staying in a stranger's apartment--one that was clean but not particularly cozy or convenient. (The futon in the living area was hard and uncomfortable--but then we really didn't use it because we couldn't get the television to work anyway.)
