Heel goede service

Heel goede service. Ons hele gezin is vegan en mijn dochter heeft daarnaast ook nog een gluten intolerantie. Wij hebben vooraf hierover met het hotel gemaild en zij hebben speciaal voor haar een vegan/glutenvrij ontbijt samen gesteld met glutenvrij brood, pancakes en wafels.

Nice service, grandiose lobby, good location, but the rooms are outdated and need refurbishment. Was good for a one night stay before going to Taman Negara

The accommodation has that quite grand feeling. The room is really spacious thou may need some attentions soon. The reception area is lovely with the extra cold drinks for the hot days in KL. What really made us feel good is the personnel. My daughter was given a welcome cookie which definitely brighten her day after almost 13 hours on the road. Breakfast buffet is excellent!

hotel oud en versleten (op), vloerbedekking vies, ging vanalles kapot in kamer tijdens verblijf dat is opgelost maar blijft zeer hinderlijk. Meer een drie sterren hotel

If Istana renovate her rooms, the hotel will be very nice for all customers. Thats the only thing. The rest is very OK!!!

Hotel that makes you feel welcome and at home

Voordelen: The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful in various ways. The food is excellent. Close to the shopping area Bukit Bintang.
Nadelen: The bathrooms are slightly due for renovations. We did experience a clogged sink (but failed to report it) and the shower we exposed to rust.
Locatie: Bukit Bintang for all the shopping experience. Jalan Alor for the food
Hotel Istana is one of those hotels that really makes you feel welcome and at home. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Each time we visit KL we make sure we book a room at Hotel Istana because of its vicinity (walking distance) to the various malls in and around Bukit Bintang area. I have been recommending this hotel to all my friends visiting KL.

3 dagen geweest. Ontbijt viel tegen. Op loopafstand van de Twin Towers en shopping en uitgaansleven. Het viel op dat er behoorlijk wat vrouwen in burka in het hotel rondliepen. Volgens een taxi-chauffeur heeft Istana een islamitische betekenis en is daardoor populair bij de inwoners van de Arabische landen.
