“Short break in June”

2nd trip to The Majestic, this time brought friends for 4 nights. Everyone very satisfied. We had partial lake view rooms, which are certainly small but had great views from the Juliet balcony. HB 4-course evening meals are good value/quality, but can be too much (!) after 3 nights. Mercedes Vito minibus for 4x from the airport was c165 Euros each way and worked well.

“Fantastic lake side location”

Great lakeside location, the best location in Pallanza in my opinion. Great views over the lake and very peaceful. 5-10 mins walk along a partially pedestrianised road to the town centre bars and cafes. Classy hotel, food expensive in comparison with other restaurants in the locality, but of very high quality with excellent service. Some of the rooms have relatively small bathrooms. However the big corner rooms with lake views are are terrific

“Perfect!”

What an excellent hotel, the staff were welcoming and helpfull when needed but in the background when not. The rooms were spacious and views superb, the location meant there was no traffic noise but you were only a short walk to the ferry terminal. There was a great feeling of space when you were having breakfast, lazing in the garden or sipping cocktails on the terrace. I would go back now if I could.

A perfect hotel for relaxation and recuperation.The hotel staff were very professional and polite at all times.Eating the carefully prepared food on the terrace was a delight.The view of the lake from my room was glorious and I loved having soft clean sheets every day.

“Excellent, romantic hotel”

Excellent, peaceful, romantic hotel in secluded surroundings on lakeside away from Pallanza town centre but within walking distance if you want to. No other hotel in Pallanza currently has direct lake side access.

“Simply Superb Hotel”

The Grand Hotel Majestic has a superb quiet location on the shores of Lake Maggiore with beautiful views across to the Borromean islands. The hotel staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Rooms were always efficiently cleaned with fresh bedlinen and towels on request. Facilities are ideal with a spa, sauna, small gym and indoor pool onsite. An apperitif on the Terrace in the evening watching the sunset is exquisite. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for it's first class customer care, quality of service, decor and rooms. Ideal for a special occassion or romantic break.

“Idyllic setting and wonderful service”

We stayed at Majestic for our honeymoon, and we could not imagine a more perfect setting for our week away. The Rough Guide book was correct when it stated that the staff were friendly yet removed enough to make their role seem effortless. They were professional and attentive; we never had to wait for anything. The hotel is easy to find and away from traffic noise. It sits right on the lake shore in what is one of the best settings we saw. We would recomend it to everyone - it's an experience NOT to be missed.

Mooi hotel met een prettige atmosfeer fantastisch gelegen aan het Lago Maggiore. Waar voor zijn geld.

het hotel is perfect gelegen aan de rand van het meer gericht op het zuiden op een landtong; geen doorgaand verkeer. relaxte atmosfeer met een goed restaurant. Fantastisch mooi uitzicht vanuit kamer/ terras etc op het meer. Zeer aan te bevelen.

“Peace and relaxation”

Have just returned from the most peaceful and relaxing break at the Grand Hotel Majestic, where the staff are efficient, discreet and treat you as an individual, not a number. Late breakfasts meant a welcome lie-in and we were never disturbed by noise from other rooms. The views across the lake from our balcony were breathtaking and I'd go back tomorrow if I could!
