“Pleasurable Experience”

Pleasing experience at this hotel, everyone was helpful. Had read some below parr reviews and was quite aprehensive about what we were going to find. The location superb, breakfast catering for everyones needs. Tables cleared away fast, although there was one exuberant waitress, (think she was new though). Didn.t eat other than breakfast, but the meals served whilst we were in the bar loofed lovely. Obvious that the hotel had been refurbished, just hope they keep up the standards.

“Wonderful hotel, very clean, perfect location”

Wonderful hotel!! Surprisingly large room, compared to other European hotels I've stayed at. Very clean and very pleasant staff. We inquired with the concierge several times and they were very knowledgeable and pleasant. You can buy tickets to certain attractions at the concierge desk so that avoids having to stand in line at the attraction. The hotel was in a very convenient location, located a little over a block from the South Kensington underground station. Very safe area - my Aunt and I were traveling alone and walking from the tube station to the hotel late at night we felt very safe. Room was comfortable regarding bedding and climate - air conditioning worked wonderful which is always a concern of mine because I'm always hot. Hotel was very quiet, heard a few noises from the room next door, such as the shower every once in awhile, but could not hear talking in the room next door. Shower pressure was great and never ran out of hot water. The bathroom had a long narrow bath tub and there was actually a shower curtain which I've never had in Europe before. The breakfast buffet was very nice - every morning there was scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon (which was actually Canadian bacon), cheeses, fruit, croissants and danishes, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, tomatoes, mushrooms, and baked beans. We filled up on breakfast since it was included "free" with our room and usually only ate again mid-afternoon so we saved a lot of money on food. I highly recommend this hotel!

“Excellent stay”

I was delighted with my short stay at The Rembrandt and I hope to repeat it again. Apart from the service, ambience and so forth it is situated in such a lovely location, ideal for a London visit.

“Brilliant hotel!”

This is the best hotel I stayed in whilst recently being in the UK (and that included a stay at a supposed 5 star!) Great location. Overall room (including bathroom) was very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, great variety (except from some of the other guests - my initial thought was that it was feeding time at the zoo! - But that has nothing to do with the hotel!). Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Both the hotel restaurant and room service were both excellent value for money. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in London and I would definately stay there again.

“Wonderful Hotel in a Great Central Location”

We stayed at The Rembrandt for 8 nights and were very happy with the hotel and staff. The free breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were kept clean, and the staff was very helpful. I needed to print our tour bus passes and our plane boarding passes so they told me to email them to the front desk and they would print them for me. They also helped us out when my husband hurt his arm and needed to go to the emergency hospital. The hotel is in a very nice location, just down the street from Harrods. I highly recommend The Rembrandt Hotel and will plan to stay there the next time I travel to London.

“Exceptional, excellent, quality experience”

This is a gem. It made our stay in London fantastic. The full English breakfast buffet made breakfast fans out of us, who usually skip that meal. We will return to this hotel for every London trip.

“Great Hotel after 45 years”

Terrific location, lovely hotel,excellant breakfast buffet, easy to get to from Heathrow on the Piccadilli line. We had a lovely five days. We arrived at 8 am in the morning and the reception had a room for us right away. A two hour nap and we were read for the V&A right acrss te street and then a walk to Harrods 15 minutes away. The South Kensington area is safe and attractive with many good reasonable restaurants. We stayed at the Rembrant 45 years ago. Wow, its far, far better now. (Why no clocks in the room? That's our only caveat.)

“The superb Rembrandt”

Great location, very close to palace, museums etc, beautiful part of London, hotel was spotlessly clean, staff couldn't have been more helpful, breakfast was a more than ample start to the day & breakfast times were very accomodating. Room was a tad small even by New York standards (they have smaaallll rooms) but had all the facilities needed. Would definately return to this hotel again when next visiting London, and have already recommended it to another couple.

“A very happy visit to London”

The location is very good; we were able to walk to many places we wanted to visit. Our room was well appoined and very quiet and peaceful. The decor is tasteful, beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The quality of the welcome was very good and the breakfast was very high quality, probably the best I have had in a hotel. We chose the hotel for its location and for the adjacent spa facilities, which we did use. We enjoyed the beauty treatments we had in the spa. The pool is small and is also used for local childrens' swimming lessons, so is not always totally free for swimmers. There is a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. We plan to return!
