“Great value and location”

Not high end, but does an excellent job of delivering the basics at a reasonable price. Very clean and fresh - doesn't feel tacky or shabby. Friendly, quality staff. Safe, upper end neighborhood. Perfect location for visiting anything in the West Hollywood area. Easy walk to the Grove, farmers market, Park La Brea apartment complex and Whole Foods. Convenient, safe and free off-street parking a big plus. Have stayed twice and will certainly stay again.

The Park Plaza Hotel is located in a nice neighborhood and near The Grove at Farmer's Market. It's a nice hotel and I would definitely stay there again in another opportunity!

“I'll Be Back!”

Stayed three nights at the Park Plaza. Very courteous and accommodating hosts. No frills, but attractive, clean, and well-kept premises. Very good under cover parking, superb adjacent restaurant, easy walking distance to renowned shopping, museum, and entertainment venues. If you like saving a couple of hundred a night, and don't need the Ritz, this may be the best hostelry value on the west side. AAA+++!!!

“A Traveler's Suite”

excellant, very very reasonable priced My wife and I stayed in a suite which was very nice. If all the motels, hotels etc. were this reasonable priced I definitely would travel more for adventure not just for family.

“Great service and location.”

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and provided a high level of customer service! They were able to book tours on our behalf and gave some great advice of things to do and places to go (as well as ways to get there). The room was adequate for my girlfriend and I. They were clean and of a good size! The location was handy as it was a short walk away from a shopping centre and public transport. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here. It is great value for money.

“Save money without losing out on nice accommodatio”

I would recommend the Park Plaza Lodge to anyone looking to save money but who doesn't want to worry about cleanliness or safety as you might in a hostel. Although more of a 'motel' than a hotel, it still has plush, spacious rooms, nice bathrooms, friendly and helpful staff and feels very safe and secure. Free fast wi-fi, microwave and fridge in room, flat screen TV, big comfy bed...I couldn't fault my stay! Highly recommended.

“An affordable & clean hotel with friendly staff.”

We (group of 4) found the staff very helpful and friendly. They provided information on tours, directions to the nearest Bistro, Cafe and shopping centre. They booked our tours and called taxis when required. I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a reasonably priced hotel, clean and above all helpful staff. It was also centrally located and close to shopping centre, the Farmers Market and the famous Rodeo Drive.

“Perfect for a no frills business trip for self emp”

searching LA for a no frills, clean decent and comfortable hotel option, I finally stuck pay dirt. I 've never been the type who liked those silly frills, like free shampoo etc. This hotel offered good solid quality stay in an ok setting for a great price. I was comfortable, the place was a great location and the restaurant next door is awesome.

“Great value for money!”

The Park Plaza Lodge is a cute retro-looking little hotel with wonderful proprietors/staff who made us feel very welcome. The location can't be beat; it's within easy walking distance of the Farmer's Market & The Grove, LACMA and the design shops on LaBrea, and about a 15-20 minute leisurely walk to the shopping on Melrose. There is convenient local bus service if you don't drive and free parking if you do. A cafe on the opposite corner has great coffee and pastries for breakfast and there's a restaurant attached to the hotel. The room was clean and super comfy; the bathroom was brand new with a spacious shower and lots of hot water. Drawbacks: the pool is small and "no frills" and 3rd is noisy with traffic during the day, though it quiets down at night so we had no problem sleeping. We would definitely stay here again. It was great value for the money.

“Cute, cheap place!”

Yeah, it's 2.5 stars, but very friendly, very cute, and walking distance to some great eating places and a wonderful dive called "the little bar." My best friend lives around the block, so I'm definitely staying here every time I visit her.
