“Hesperia hospitality”

Lovely staff, relaxed and friendly, made us feel very welcome during our one week stay in August 2008. Efficient air conditioning and water saving features in room. A shame about sloppy poolside behaviour of a few English tourists who can't be bothered to follow basic guidelines. We would stay here again.

“Nice Hotel, Hope Your fit!”

We stayed here for a week and was very impressed. Hotel Staff very Friendly and Hotel rooms were nice and clean. Also A very good price. One word of slight warning its on a hill and is about half & 45 mins walk into the centre. We quite enjoy walking and as long as you find the short cuts you will get to the port within 5 mins. There is taxis and buses outside the hotel if you need them anyway. Would stay again!! Palma is a lovely city-enjoy.

“Quiet break away.....”

This is a very nice hotel with very welcoming staff. My wife and I were made to feel welcome from the first moment. The rooms were airy and well-equiped. Modern furniture in good condition, a large bathroom and flat-screen satelite TV. The balcony gave us a partial seaview. The hotel catering was limited due to time of year, but we knew this before booking. The breakfast was good and good value. The house keeping was excellent. The bus stop serving the city was just outside the door and a bus every 15 minutes meant we rarely used the taxi rank, which was at the same place. Th hotel was a short (10 inutes) walk from the nearest restaurants and bars (Rifif is very good), but we prefered the old city, with its excellent choice of bars and restaurants (La Boveda and Bar Dia stick in the mind). All in all, an excellent holiday hotel in an interesting city (visit the Fondacio Pilar & Joan Miro!!!!).

“A very good hotel and really a 4 star”

The location of the hotel was no good. Far fromthe main atractions of the city, but the personnel was excellent, helpfull and friendly. The room was excellent as well, the inconvenience is that we have to walk a lot to reach it, since it was in another building, but, overall I would recommend it.

“Brilliant for the price”

We stayed here for 5 nights from 7 October 2007. I loved the staff there. It is listed as a 4 star but in reality it is a 3 star, more because of lack of facilities than for any other reason. The staff friendly and helpful, but a bit thin on the ground. We asked if we could order something to eat and were told we at reception that we had to order room service from our room. Breakfast good value. Hotel up more than one steep hill but taxi rank right outside and taxis very cheap and frequent. The room was modern and clean and toiletries replaced when used. Minibar cheap as chips. Recommended if you're in need of a nice relaxing friendly break away from it all, but with amenities all around if needed.

The rooms were spacious and we found our stay relaxing. Staff helpful.Rooms were clean. Palma is a nice City and this hotel provides a good base for exploration. If you can't cope with the 30 minute walk into the City there are plenty of buses. Breakfast good. If I were to make any complaint it would be re the coffee served at breakfast (instant, although it is served from a jug, and luke warm). The water for the tea was not hot either. Coffe served in the bar was good though (proper coffee and hot). Would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was reasonably priced and the facilites were certainly adequate.Pauline

away from the holiday buzz this business hotel is everything a business traveller can ask for. Its a little off from the old town.

“Fairly priced hotel”

Nice hotel on a steep hill about a 7 minute taxi to the Old Town. Free WIFI too which is a nice touch

Hotel was excellent value for money, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room.

“Much better than I expected”

We had read a few mixed reviews before we arrived, expecting the worse we were more than pleased. We only stayed 1 night at the end of our holiday and booked 3 rooms (family of 5 + aupair, youngest being 5). Hotel staff were very nice, nothing was too much trouble including letting us use their storage facilities and pool until 7pm on the day of departure. The rooms were modern, well furnished - very nice bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable and all rooms appear to have balconies (not all look onto gardens). Aircon was much appreciated. Pool was fine - large and deep (small childrens end), not many sunbeds but not that many people using them during the day. Also can be shady around the pool which was perfect for us with small children. Hotel is on hill and not walking distance from centre but close to shopping centre and restaurants. Breakfast buffet worth the 10 euros per person but coffee was rubbish. Only critisism was availability of food and drink during the day - had to use vending machine?? Would recommend though - excellent value
