“Wonderful hotel in Mykonos Town”

We had a fabulous stay at the Poseidon Hotel. We booked a suite which turned out to be huge- a big bedroom with a small balcony looking out over the pool area and the Aegean, a bathroom with a separate shower and whirlpool tub and a living room. We stayed 4 nights in April so there weren't many tourists around so we felt like we had the pool to ourselves. The breakfast is bountiful and with many foods including eggs and bacon as well as Greek pastries, fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, and fresh squeezed orange juice. The staff is very friendly and there is a free shuttle from the port which is a couple miles away but you should send an email to let them know which ferry. After a day at the beach we came back to our room and watched the sun set over the Aegean while sipping wine. Then we could meander down to old town for a meal. The hotel is close enough to old town to walk everywhere and we rented a motor scooter to visit the beaches on other parts of the island. It was a glorious vacation.

We had the best vacation ever! The place is beautiful, the view, the breakfast menu, the smile of everybody on the staff, Clean, speacefull,...we would love to come back again and again every year!....Best choice

“Fantastic hotel in a great location”

Very impressed with the Poseidon Hotel-Suites. We had a plus room which was plenty big enough. Very clean and modern, and had a small balcony overlooking the sea. Was a 10 min walk into Mykonos Town, and a 5 min walk to the nearest beach. On arrival at the airport, we couldn't get a cab so phoned the hotel and they sent someone to pick us up free of charge within 10 mins, and also gave us a lift to the port on departure. It has a really nice pool with a variety of cool loungers, including a hammock, and a couple of double beds! And the bar is just a few steps from the pool. We'd definitely stay here again if we go back to Mykonos.

“I loved this hotel!”

I loved this hotel. The expedia website doesn't do it justice. It was so, so much better than the description, and photos on thi websit. We had a room right at the end - our deck overlooked the harbour and the windmills. The beds are super comfortable with fluffy comfortors and pillows. The decor is fresh and clean. There's a flat screen TV in the room, and a makeup desk, and a huge closet. But the best thing had to be the bathroom. It was really nice. Done with lots of modern touchs, and the shower has a rain shower head. This was the only shower during our whole greece trip which I actually felt was really clean. The hotel staff were really helpful and gave us a free transfer to the ferry. The hotel is really close to the bus station, stores, ATV rentals, etc. But its still very quiet. We rented an ATV up the street, and parked it next to some other ATVs one night. We came out the next morning, to find it gone. It was actually just moved by the hotel staff to the lower level. You can't see it from the main entrance, but there is a sign that indicates ATV parking on the lower level of the parking lot. So unless you want a scare like ours, park on the lower level.

“Absolutely Pefect”

This was an amazing hotel. The location was perfect - easy access to the town centre yet very quiet with the most stunning views of the city and the aegean sea. Staff were amazing, rooma beautifully decorated and also very very clean. Absolutely great- I am definitely going back there and ecommend it to everyone.

“Relax in Mykonos”

The Poseidon Hotel was better than either of us expected. The rooms were large, with balcony and we had a view of the sea. The bed was reasonably comfortable and there was a tub, always a plus. The location was just a few minutes walk from the bus station at one end of the downtown, so we had easy access to the beaches (by bus) or to shopping/dining/partying, while being able to retreat to the quiet of our hotel. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices and the staff were friendly.

Thiis a wonderful hotel with comfortable large rooms with some of the best views in Mykonos, balaconies and terraces overlooking the sea and minutes from rocks and beaches. There is also an excelllent sea-water pool in the hotel. The sfaff are friendly and very helpful. There is good wireless - but take your laptop! A great place to relax.

“Loved this hotel and its pool”

We were delighted with everything about this hotel. It was the shoulder season so not crowded. We had a sea view from our room. The breakfast offered a wide choice of delicious food. The location was excellent, near town and Windmill Hill. Service was also excellent. We especially enjoyed the salt water pool, and lounging area, where we spent lots of time reading. Possibly only complaint was music piped into pool area, too loud and frankly we would have preferred no music.
