“Clean, friendly, near the airport too!”

I heard there are few quality hotels near the airport. I heard wrong. This one is superb, an oasis in an otherwise grimy locale. They do airport transfers and have free wifi ...staff is great.

“Good place”

I booked this hotel for a friend, for an overnight stay between flights. I tried to book a car to pick him up at the airport, from the hotel website, and that didn't seem to work. Other than that it was fine. He'd be happy to stay there again.

“rough part of town.”

the only negative note would be the location of the hotel in a rough part of Nairobi although there seemed to be adequate security. Getting there in the evening was tense. Photo is view out of my room's window.

Terrible area for a hotel but the staff are friendly & helpfull if pushed, the restuarant is nice and food is tasty

“lack of roads”

If you ok with a lack of roads and surrounding powerty, its a good place to stay. You will need the taxi to commute.

“Camel meat in Africa”

Noisy set-up, so hard to sleep through the noise coming in through internal windows. Camel steak on the menu in the restaurant. Strong Muslim feel to the place: has it's own mosque, no alcohol in the place, caters mainly to Somalis.

“Basic but clean”

When I went road in front was being relaid which meant you had to drive through slum areas to get to hotel. Rooms were good and clean, no bath just shower. Muslim area so hotel catered to area needs, eg no alcohol

“Be Aware”

The hotel should state clearly that it mainly serves Muslims and has no alcohol at bar and restaurant. The single room has only one fan without air conditioning or heating. The location is far away from the main airport, and you need to pay 20USD for taxi fare.
