'Near the beach, friendly staff. Problems were solved (sometimes after a reminder). Quality of the breakfast was good. Room was definitely dated. Although clean not in depth. Closer doors were very tired, safe was unresponsive (solved), roaches in the kitchenette (solved), bathroom door stuck and scraped. Staff at the front desk very friendly.'

'It would really have helped to have a buffet breakfast. The breakfast there for $18 was really bad bacon uncooked eggs looked old we left went elsewhere for breakfast. But at the price we paid per evening shortly bagels and coffee could’ve been provided for free.'

'This is a spectacular little boutique hotel in downtown Norfolk. The location is great for walking to the theater and the water district. There’s dining everywhere. The biggest bonus is the glass art museum that’s included with your stay.'

'Was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was good and seemed fresh. Rooms clean. Did have one towel that seemed to be stained, but all in all good. Not sure if it is the scent of the cleaner or what but there was a constant aroma of what seemed to be Marijuana in the hall way. We did not smell it in our room however. All an all I would return and enjoyed the stay. 4 out of 5 stars.'

'Staff were incredibly friendly, and the property itself was beautiful. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the restaurant and spent a great deal of time at the pool. Our room was also very spacious and clean. The only downside was the temperature in the room. Despite setting the AC to its lowest setting, temperatures reached 78–80°F during the day and remained around 75–78°F at night. Because the room was often uncomfortable, we ended up spending more time in the common areas. Fortunately, those...
