“Ideaal hotel in de buurt van Parijs voor een vakantie met de eigen auto”

Hotel Chanteloup is een eenvoudig maar zeer net hotel, gelegen in een klein dorpje Chanteloup-en-Brie. De kamers zijn niet overdreven ruim, maar zeker voldoende als slaapplaats voor 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen (family room). Ontbijt is goed, veel variatie (naar Franse normen) en zodra er eten of drank op is, wordt dit meteen weer aangevuld. Hotel is ideaal voor een meerdaags bezoek aan Disney (10 minuten met de auto) of aan Parijs zelf. Metro zit ook dicht in de buurt. (5 minuten met de auto). Hotel beschikt over een eigen afgesloten parkeerplaats. We hebben al meerdere malen gebruik gemaakt van dit hotel, omdat het nog steeds uitstekend bevalt, zeker gezien de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Hotel is cheap, clean and very close to Disney. If you are looking for a cheap alternative to the Disney hotels and you have a car then go here !! Disney is only 10 minutes drive from the hotel.

Een ideaal hotel om een meerdaags bezoek te brengen aan Disneyland Paris (10 minuten met de auto) of Parijs en omgeving. Ook de bus stopt voor de deur. Eenvoudig, maar schoon hotel en is het helemaal waard voor de prijs. Ontbijt is ook eenvoudig, maar alles is er in overvloed: Verse croissants, stokbrood, yoghurt, eieren etc. Hotel is zeer geschikt voor kinderen, vooral met de speciale family-rooms. We hebben dit hotel al voor de derde keer geboekt, omdat we zo tevreden zijn. Hotel Chanteloup ligt in een rustig klein dorpje, Een hele verademing na de drukte van Disneyland of Parijs. Heeft verreweg de voorkeur boven een Disneyhotel, qua prijs en drukte.

“Ideal location for Disney”

Found this hotel perfect for our needs. Took about 10 minutes in the car to get to Disney and Chanteloup en Brie is a nice town (but expanding enormously into the surrounding countryside). Biggest problem was eating in the evening. First night we went to Jossigny, a few minutes drive away, and ate in an Italian restaurant attatched to an hotel (because we couldn't find anywhere else). Not particularly nice. My daughter had salad from the buffet and said it tasted 'old'. Next 2 nights ate in Disney Village at Planet Hollywood and the Rainforest Cafe. Not surprisingly, this was expensive. Last night we ate in the hotel and were pleasantly surprised. Lovely meal. Breakfast in the hotel was good. Three cereals to choose from, croissants, french bread, jam, fruit (tinned fruit cocktail),eggs, yoghurt,orange juice, tea and coffee. Self service, constantly replenished. Our room (for 4) was small but fine. It was comfortable and the beds were made each day and clean towels were put in the bathroom each day too. Sometimes they were tatty and fraying at the edges but they were clean! Staff were helpful. All in all we thought, for a 2 star hotel, it was excellent. You get what you pay for and we thought it represented very good value for money.

“Great location - like something out of a disney film!”

my sister and i booked this hotel to take my daughter to paris and disneyland. unlike the other east disneyland hotels, this hotel is set in a small village which is beautiful (we took a walk round on our first night and were really impressed). to get to / from the airport we used a taxi which was 50 euros each way (the same as the disney bus). it was really easy to get about, the number 42 bus takes you straight to the rer station which is 1 stop away from disneyland or about 15mins from central paris. the rooms in the hotel are nicely decorated and the beds are comfy. there is a tv but the channels are french, we took a dvd player tho which worked fine. there's plenty of storage in the rooms and the bathroom is lovely. a proper bath and shower plus large sink area. breakfast is continental, the bread and eggs are fresh and there is also a choice of cereal and yoghurts. we had dinner in the hotel from the fixed menu which was 15 euros an adult and 10 for a child. the portions were really large and the food was excellant. at the bottom of the street is a pizza / burger shop which we tried and it was brilliant value for money, although food is not allowed in the hotel. all the staff were really helpful, polite and friendly and the room was cleaned everyday. if we return to paris we will definitely use this hotel again.

“Very impressed”

For a two star hotel we were very impressed. Family room was clean, plenty of towels, beds very comfy. The breakfast in the morning was first-class and plenty of it. Ideal as a base for Disneyland and only 10 minutes away in the car. Would recommend this hotel, very good value for money.

“Excellent location at a very good price.”

We booked this hotel last minute while in France on holiday. Forthe price we paid we were extremely suprised at the Hotel and its facilities. It is in an excellent location for Eurodisney and offered us everything we wanted. The breakfast was continental but an unexpected bonus with a choice of cereal, fruit, yogurt and fresh bread and crossaints. If you want a good value for money hotel in an excellent location then this is the one for you.

“Close to Disneyland Paris”

We found this hotel very reasonable and comfortable and absolutely ideal for visiting Disneyland. It is only a few minutes away by car and they run a shuttle if needed (although only one each way and restricting times). Comfy rooms, slightly small for a family of 4 but fine. Clean and smart and the restaurant had good opening times and great food. All in all, we would recommend this hotel.

“Good, cheap, hotel very close to Disney”

After reading some reviews I was a bit disheartened and almost canceled. I am very pleased I didn't. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The food was good and plentiful. It was very simple but as a place to stay near Disney it was excellent and I would definitely go back. It was only 4 miles to Disney.
