“Wonderful Stay”

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel - just a short walk from Portofino. The location, quality of the room, service and breakfast was excellent. It was also my birthday and they left a bottle of champagne and fruit platter in the room. Just lovely.

The hotel was in a great location ! Our room was better than we expected with french doors that opened onto a veranda with a view of the private beach, blue waters and sailboats. We had a wonderful time and have recommended this hotel to our friends and family.

I was a little hesitant when booking this hotel but to my surprise it was more than I could have asked for. Its all about the LOCATION and the views with this hotel. Convenient to the Cinque Terra's and your own private beach! I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and when we return we will be staying here again

“Look no further than Domino when visitng Portofino!”

As I mentioned above, the Domino is the perfect hotel to stay in while visiting Portofino, I recommend it unreservably. We have visited it twice, both with and without children and it worked perfectly both times. Spacious, clean and well appointmented rooms. The hotel staff were very helpful ( only complaint I might have appreciated a "welcome back" on arrival). They arranged a terrific boat tour for us. It is well worth paying a bit extra to get the view as it is amazing. While the food in the restuarant is very good it lacks atmosphere, not a bit issue as the town harbour is minutes walk away which is abundant with cafes and restaurants all as good as each other. Lunch at the private "beach' is well priced and good salads. I would recommend a drink on the terrace of the Spendido Hotel and dinner at their restauranat in the town square followed by cocktails at the American Bar.

Portofino is a magical place to be and the Domina Home Piccolo can't be beat for location, scenery, service or value in Italy. The ocean view is spectacular and the private grotto for sunning and swimming is a perfect place to relax. We will definitely return.

Simply a fantastic place - the beach area is spectacular, the food was great, and the room was perfect. It's tough to find a good hotel in Portofino - and this is a great one!

“Fantastic hotel in all respects - would definitely go back”

Domina Piccolo was a fantastic hotel. The rooms were great - roomy, clean and modern. It was in a great location, walking distance to the marina in Portofino and easy to catch the bus to Santa Margherita. The private beach was gorgeous and really the only one in the area. Would definitely recommend the restaurant at the hotel also - very reasonable prices for good meals when compared to the expensive restaurants at the Portofino Marina. There is a small car park next to the hotel and we parked there to check in and before we knew it one of the hotel staff was there to take our luggage and drive the car to the car park ! Overall we were very impressed with the hotel and their service.

We were not sure what to expect after reading the reviews on this website; We had a really good week in this hotel, breakfast was more than adequate. The buses pass the door and it was only one euro into Santa Margherita. We ate at some wonderful restaurants in the area.

“Mediterranean Hotel Paradise”

We visited France and Italy, and this hotel was located in Portofino, Italy. We only stayed one night, but in hind sight wish we would have booked a couple of nights. Portofino is a beautiful "exclusive" fisherman village, and the hotel is right on the sea. Our room had a balcony overlooking the water with breath taking views. Although the main road was between the hotel and the water, the road is very small and quiet. Our experience was much more than we had hoped for. The staff was very polite and helpful. Wi Fi is available, and the restuarant was very clean and nice. As mentioned, we wish we had the time for at least one more night at the hotel. parking was 10 Euro/night, but well worth it. The town square is easily within walking distance with many very nice restaurants and shopping, so need for the car anyway.
