Nice property in excellent location near the Parthenon. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was self-service continental and minimal in choice. Good value for money for two people sharing, less good for single traveller. My main issue with the property was that I was charged an additional €30 for a 'late check in'. I checked in just before 9pm, which I had informed them about in advance. Since I was paying just under £600 for a four-night stay, I did not appreciate the extra charge for a 'late check-in'. I had been told that this charge 'may be applied', not 'will be applied', but the person at the desk (who wanted cash - why?) said that they had no discretion regarding this payment.

Considering the breakfast, so it's been our choice to offer our clients a typical Italian breakfast which includes, Cornetto/Cappuccino, hot and cold drinks, variety of flavored yogurts, rusks with jam and nutella, and fresh fruits. We enjoyed 3 nights very much. But we were sightseeing so we left early in the morning and came back late every day. The staff is wonderful, very accommodating. We felt like we were staying with friends. Coffee, danish, fruit provided and we brought to our room. I felt bad for making coffee so early in the morning because I probably disturbed the whole place. The atmosphere is spectacular, hot hot water, comfortable bed, excellent AC. Walls a little thin but not too bad. Elevator small, but 2 people ok, safe locks (main door, gated entrance and then the hotel and then room). This is a building built in the 1700s (I believe) and close to Pantheon. The hotel has no control over the noise from street but it wasn’t bad. This is a guesthouse so the staff leaves at night. We felt perfectly safe.

Very close to all the historic sites we wanted to see (walkable for most). Uber and taxi was very easy to use for sites further away. Plenty of dining options within a few minute walk. Very quiet property. We felt safe and secure.
