'We traveled end of may and had issues with sargassum... staff seemed bothered when asked for a drink .. buffet was not always packed with food... rooms are clean'

'We had a excellent time at the cove. It was centrally located between the boardwalk, the beach, and the docks. Great rooms with extremely comfortable beds. The pool was warmer than the beach in June. It was very refreshing to relax by the pool, read a book and take a dip. Even the shampoo was great. The air conditioner work well and the refrigerator was helpful to have. It looks in better condition than any hotel we saw. Would return in anytime.'

'The room was very clean but the fan in the bathroom did not work so there appeared to be mold on the vent. Housekeeping only came one time during our 5 night stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.'

'Sandcastle hotel was an awesome place to stay. The front desk personnel were helpful at check-in explaining what was available as far as amenities during our stay. The only thing I can say is the continental breakfast offered at the check-in desk needs an improvement. Other than that, the hotel grounds are pleasant and well manicured. 'What a great location with 5 star views. We practically had the entire beach to ourselves for the 5 days we stayed. The resort could use a little updating but I’m not complaining because I loved every bit of our time there. Breakfast is amazing! I’m so sad it’s going to be turning into a club med. Such a beautiful resort.'

'Definitely, a gem on the island. My room was clean, spacious, and my favorite part is the AC put in work! The grounds were well-maintained, and the staff was friendly. My only critiques are the lack of chairs on the actual beach and the lack of umbrellas for the chairs available. Overall, I enjoyed my time there. I would definitely revisit The Fred.'

Having been an Expedia client for many years, I rely on the their information for making decisions about locations to consider. This time we were duped. We were told of dining and bar options that were either closed permanently, closed early, or provided very limited options. For example, the coffee shop's espresso machine was broken and had been for months. The lobby bar and Italian restaurants...

'Awesome views at The Waves!! AMA restaurant and Cane bay beach within close proximity made us want to stay on the north shore all week. Front desk and housekeeping were super helpful and responsive to our needs. If you’re looking for a relaxing vacation in St Croix I would highly recommend staying here. And my wife and I can’t wait to visit again!'

'We stayed eight nights and it was okay. I was shocked by the fact that guests have to pay twenty dollars a day to use an umbrella on the beach, and you only get one free lounger, your travel partner will have to pony up 15 bucks. No coffee maker in any of the rooms. Our sliding glass door to the balcony was broken, and we only had WiFi in our room for about 5 minutes the entire time. The pictures are very inaccurate, the place is in shambles from hurricane damage and it’s a bit depressing when...

'Perfect place for a beach get away. White sand beach was just steps away from our cottage. If you love snorkeling, this is the beach to be… swam with turtles, saw stingrays, cuttlefish and even an eel . Such a diverse marine life I did not expect to see. John was very accommodating with every request we made.'

'I would stay here again. We were here 9 years ago and loved it! It was just as good this time. Views are wonderful, beach is very nice and not crowded, bartender Connor was excellent and food truck was delicious!! We fell in love with the cats around our cabin.
