The service was just as good in the restaurant and the bar. The staff in the morning were very attentive of your needs and quick to serve you. The reception staff were very helpful in giving us information on travel in and outside of Venice. The rooms were also very clean and the beds where comfortable. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel would stay here again.

We could not find any faults regarding the hotel. The location is great within easy access to the train station, just opposite the hotel. All hotel staff very helpful nothing to much trouble. Spotless hotel room cleaned every day. Breakfast very good plenty to eat, with a good selection to choice from. Would recommend the hotel to family and friends and would not hesitate to stay there again if we were to visit Venice.

The hotel and staff were excellent. The room was modern, clean and tidy as was the very large bathroom. I particularly liked the fact that there was a stand-alone shower and a bath. In addition, I liked being able to regulate the temperature in the room to what suited me. The staff were attentive and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent, varied and plentiful.

Second time i have used this hotel. Excellent service. This is the ideal location for a trip to Venice. 10 mins on the train and 1.20 euro per trip. Best value I've seen for a long time.

“Short term stay in Venice”

Excellent location for easy access to Venice and Marco Polo Airport. This hotel is a good alternative to the more expensive hotels found in Venice.

“Enjoyed stay at the Best Western Hotel Bologna”

The hotel is located across from the Venezia Mestre train station and is a short walk from the ATVO bus stop. The bedroom was spacious; closet space adequate but a minor quibble is the lack of drawers. The bathroom was quite spacious. For visitors on a budget, grocery and deli items can be purchased at a supermarket a short walk from the hotel. For a change of diet, there are a couple of Chinese restaurants also a short walk from the hotel. The items on the breakfast buffet do not vary on a daily basis but are quite extensive ranging from eggs, hams, cheeses, croissants, fruits, and juices. Orders for the hot beverages (cappuccino , hot chocolate) are taken by the restaurant staff. The in-house restaurant does provides a "bistro menu" in addition to items ordered a la carte. We enjoyed the veal with polenta.

“A terrific (and maybe better) option to Venice”

Excellent option to staying in Venice itself. We were unable to get a four or five star hotel in Venice for under $500/nt, so we started looking at options. We knew we would have several very heavy bags with us and after reading about the horrible experiences of travelers trudging through the alleyways and over bridges with bags (and subsequently helping many older folks in that situation), I think the Best Western in Mestre was an incredible alternative. Just an easy 10 minutes by train from the heart of Venice, we couldn't have been happier. We are a couple that prefers conveniently located boutique hotels in urban centers, but we would definitely choose this hotel option again if we were returning to Venice. The hotel was very clean, extremely spacious rooms, fast free Internet, and a reasonable quality breakfast (with Nescafé coffee, but for better quality coffee head across the street to the very cool Lavazza cafe/wine bar).

“Great location, friendly staff, and good value.”

This is the second time we stayed in Mestre. First time stayed at this hotel. Accross the street from the Train Station, and all the buses. Hotel staff were very nice, friendly, very accomondating. They moved us to the third floor at 1:30 AM, because the noise down below near the Cafe. Our room was huge! Bath tub and shower were separated. The only problem is their complimentary computer for guest is not user friendly, problem to print out the boarding pass. The staff was alone at the front desk. We were frustrated with five minutes of her time. We didn't print our boarding pass. My husband and I ended up not sitting together on the flight. We would come back and stay at this hotel!
