TERRIBLE IGNORANT HOST, Cleaniness is ok.

Voordelen: Room was clean and adequate and shower was good other than that nothing else.
Nadelen: Make sure the air conditioning works, also make sure your stocked up with coffee and tea and not just sugar for the room refreshment service,
Locatie: Location is ok but a bit to far from the centre of Mestre or Venice, but there is a excellent bus service to and from this location.
Chose this B&B because of the excellent reviews the host received, I'm amazed and almost beggars belief how he got such a excellent review and rating, alarms starting ring from outset as he claimed i had only paid for one night and had to prove i actually requested three nights, ignored my emails about being picked up from airport and then didn't offer a ride to airport on my way home,
Mis-lead me when he claimed there was no bus service running on Sunday when by chance on i walk out to the town there was quite clearly buses running and i was not happy at this.
Air conditioning didn't work and offered a tea and coffee service within the room, loads and loads of sugar and sweetners but no sign of coffee or tea so what was the point of putting kettle and cups in the room.
Asked the owner for some coffee the next morning was told to wait a minute and ushered out of kitchen, waited approx 20 minutes got fed up and went out to buy my own,.
There was no interaction or advice from host which i found strange and being Italian myself i would have hoped he would be more forthcoming and sometimes asked myself am i dealing with Flavio or somebody else covering for him as i found him to be such a awkward character.
This B&B as such high ratings but i left totally dissappointed and annoyed starting from the lies about the bus service, i personally would not recommend whatsoever this B&B even though there as been a many happy customer i for one and including my wife were not one of them.

Hotel near Venice
Geplaatst op 6 mei 2017Nice room comfortable bed, everything promised was there. Very clean and quiet, host speaks enough English to explain things and get us oriented. 3.00€ R/T will take you to Venise by bus, about 20+min and bus station is nearby. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Cheaper to Stay in Mestre than in Venice

Voordelen: Price. The host Flavio.
Nadelen: The wifi internet was abysmally slow..... 150KBPs. A few more electrical outlets or splitters for all the electrical stuff we travel with these days.
Locatie: So-so residential neighborhood. Not much to do close by.
This was a reasonable alternative to staying within the Venice city limits that my wife found on-line. The daily cost including a 'continental' breakfast was ~81€ which compares to over 130€ for other on-line booking in Venice. The room was nice, had a private restroom and shower and was comfortable for a few days visit. It was not a suite meant to live out of for weeks. Available on-site parking was a plus as we had a rental car.
To get to Venice in the morning (before 9AM) by public transportation you can take a 5E or 6E express bus (5-10 minute walk) to the Venice terminal. Return transportation is by the tram (only one to choose from) to the Centro transfer point where you again grab a 5E or 6E bus. Advice: If you plan to plan to take more than one Venician water-bus ride and the bus to get to Venice, then buy the 20€ daily combo pass. Cheaper per day if you buy all at once. I.e., buy a two-day combo pass for 30€. They AGRESSIVELY check for a valid and validated public transportation ticket on the tram.

Great stay

Voordelen: Location, cost, the option of have breakfast there
Locatie: It's a residential area, there are a lot of low cost places to go eat. Not very touristy.
Room was large, comfortable with attached bath. It was clean and transportation was nearby to get to Venice. The host picked us up at the train station when we arrived there and dropped us off at the airport early in the morning when we left free of charge.

Flavio, who runs this B&B, is a great guy who accommodated and helped me a lot during my stay. I highly recommend his quaint B&B if you are staying in Venice.

It's really a worse for the money your pay. Flavio (villa owner) was helpful and met me at Mestre station. This is also queit simple to get to the center

My daughter and I very much enjoyed our stay!

Voordelen: The owner speaks good English and is very accommodating and responsive; water and tea in the room; small fridge; air conditioning; clean; quiet.
Nadelen: I would have liked a body/hair wash to be provided for the shower, hand soap was the only bathroom amenity.
Locatie: Farther from Venice than preferred, requires a bus and train or two bus rides. Need to depart Venice by around 11:30 PM.
We flew out of Venice after a vacation in Germany and Croatia with friends. Since I had only been to Venice once for a brief visit we made a point to spend a full day and a half exploring. We selected this hotel because it offered transport to the airport thus deleting our need to figure out public transport/taxi's. Sadly we had an issue with our return from Venice on the train to the hotel as customer service was not available and the ticket machine took my money but did not provide tickets. We however still boarded the train since it was the last one departing then experienced trouble with the conductor for not having tickets. Since we only had one stop we got off then attempted to find the bus with no luck. We eventually ran into a local who called the hotel owner who then came to get us. This of course was not his responsibility however he did and my 8 year old and I were very grateful. He was also kind to start the air conditioner prior our arrival at my request since the night before it had been so hot it took awhile to cool off the room. We did not explore the nearby things to do however I would during my next visit as I imagine there may be some things to check out. Lastly, while I believe the owner smokes I did not detect smoke smell or buds which I appreciate since I am very sensitive to it. After being around it all day it was nice to go home to our smoke free room.
