"Nightmare" "Filthy"
This was the worst experience that I have ever had in any hotel, The room was filthy, no towels were provided and no mats in the tub. I had to call room service to put me in another room. The overall service was horrible. The management staff was a joke. The room that was assigned to myself was not fit for a dog to stay in. It took me going back down to the front desk to be moved to another room. I will never stay at another Days Inn, ever. I asked for some Lysol or other disinfectant to spray in the room and the front desk clerk informed me that being it was after, the cleaning staff was off and she had no access to the cleaning materials. I took pictures of the room and showed them to the manager and all he could say was that the room should not of been in production. He did not even have the decency to say, on behalf of the company I am sorry or anything, The staff and management acted if what had happened did not even matter. I have never felt so mistreated in all my years of staying at different hotels while vacationing.

Location only
Can’t beat the price for the location but aesthetically this ain’t exactly a gem. I stay there all the time because of the proximity to US 29 and 250 but I don’t spend a lot of time on the hotel property or in the room except for sleeping. It is definitely quick in and out and great for travelers coming through town.

Slightly below average; works if better options aren’t available
My family and I visited for graduation. Turns out that the front desk is where the huge "Red Lobster" sign is, since the restaurant is in the hotel or something. The rooms weren’t in the best condition and looked slightly shabby (dingy looking countertops and shower walls, peeling ceiling squares), but we needed a place to stay during the crowded weekend, so it suited that requirement. When we first checked in, we thought that two lamps were broken, but turned out that the plugs come loose from the outlets easily. The TV reception was fuzzy, and there was no guide to the TV channels in the room. However, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful with requests. Parking was also not a problem for the days that we stayed.
