'Oud, gedateerd hotel. Het enige positieve eraan is de ligging om de hoek van de nightmarket en op loopafstand van het station en de cruiseport. Het ontbijt is aziatisch en elke dag hetzelfde. Voor mensen met westerse gewoontes is er alleen toast met aardbeienjam. We moesten vragen of de kamer kon worden schoongemaakt anders hadden we niet eens schone handdoeken gekregen. De kamer was steenkoud. Geen mogelijkheid om de temperatuur te regelen of de airco uit te zetten. Personeel is vriendelijk '

'i thought the property was closer to MRT, and transportation description does not match reality. having said that, it was convenient to go by bus, but takes more time to go into city center. also, it might be a good idea to remind travellers there is another hotel of the same name in the area.'

'I spent a week at this lovely place, looked after my the energetic and helpful owner. My room was bright and spacious, with a small balcony area and a large, clean bathroom. I originally only booked for three nights but extended as I loved the town and this guesthouse so much! I was driven to the train station at the end of my stay. Many thanks!'

'The host was really friendly and enthousiastic and helped us with finding a parking lot for the car, luggage and the check in. The hotel is really well located, it's at the end of the jiufen old street. The room is very spacious and the view of the room is amazing. Since Jiufen is always full of tourists, It's nice to enjoy the sunset and view from the hotelroom away from the crowd. The room was well equiped and the host made sure that everything was available for a nice stay, such as bug...

'Nice, new guesthouse, very close to the railway station and night market. Friendly host, nice breakfast. We had the room on top of the stairs, with a low ceiling. We could not stand up straight under the shower, which was a little uncomfortable. The bathroom ceiling is even lower than the one in the (windowless) room: we are Dutch ladies, 1.75 cm, and are sure our partners of 1,85 could not have stood up straight in the bathroom!
