Goede accommodatie
Inchecken was lastig, omdat er geen receptie is. verder is de eigenaar wel vriendelijk. Let op er komt nog 20 euro toeristenbelasting boven op de prijs. Dit kan beter inclusief het verblijf. De accommodatie is verder prima en erg ruim. Bedden slapen goed. Centrale locatie, nabij strand en goedkope en goede restaurants.

Prima appartment
Perfect gelegen appartement, aardige eigenaar (Fernando) die je overal mee wilt helpen. Echter is er geen receptie in het complex en krijg je bij aankomst een sleutel. Dit vind ik zelf wel een nadeel! (Voor informatie, als er iets gebeurd is of als je een taxi nodig hebt bijvoorbeeld) kamers zijn erg ruim, de keuken heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Bedden liggen redelijk goed, helaas was de kamer wel eg gehorig. Achterkant van het complex loopt aan een steegje waar in de nacht veel stappers langs komen lopen. Ook hadden wij vrij veel overlast van andere kamers. Wij waren zelf alleen tijdens onze nachtrust in het appartement, al met al voor onze 6 nachten een prima en betaalbaar appartement, maar voor een langere periode zou ik iets anders overwegen.

Heerlijk genoten van ons verblijf in Sol a Sul appartementen. Wij verbleven op de eerste verdieping met uitzicht op zee. Het appartement is ideaal gelegen op 5 min. loopafstand van het oude centrum en het strand. Het is zeer schoon en heel erg ruim. Aparte keuken waar voldoende aanwezig was en waar je ook prima zelf zou kunnen koken (hebben wij overigens niet gedaan aangezien je ook zeer goedkoop uit eten kunt gaan) : 4 pits gasfornuis, magnetron, waterkoker, broodrooster. Alleen de theepot hebben we gemist. Verder alles aanwezig. Twee ruime balkons met beide een zitje waar je 's ochtends heerlijk kunt ontbijten. De slaapkamers liggen aan de achterkant dus 's nachts geen last van lawaai van de straat. Groot en schoon zwembad met diverse ligstoelen. De eigenaar is heel erg aardig en behulpzaam. Wij hadden de transfer vanaf de luchthaven via de eigenaar geregeld en vonden het erg leuk dat de eigenaar ons buiten bij het appartement al stond op te wachten. Kortom ik kan dit iedereen aanbevelen en ik zou zeker teruggaan.

prima ligging, geen luxe
Er is veel verschil tussen de appartementen. Wij hadden het ruime penthouse dat er prima uitzag, ruime woonkamer/keuken, 2 ruime slaapkamers, 2 badkamers en 2 balkons met zeezicht. Het andere appartement op de begane grond was redelijk ingericht met een sobere badkamer, geen oven en een loshangende elektrische kabel. Hier in de nacht overlast van jongeren in hoger gelegen appartementen. Eigenaar vriendelijk maar vaak moeilijk te vinden. 1 sleutel per appartement is erg lastig als je met meerdere personen bent omdat ook de toegang tot het complex afgesloten is. Ligging is prima. Dichtbij de lift naar het strand en op korte afstand van het centrum.

Waanzinnig appartement!
Het appartement is op loopafstand van het strand en het centrum. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien. Fantastische tijd gehad, heerlijk tot rust gekomen.

Manque d' entretien et de vigilence.
Je suis allée passer une semaine dans cet établissement. L appartement a l'avantage d'être spacieux et à proximité de la plage. L hôte est aussi accueillant. Mais l appartement a vraiment besoin d être rafrâichi. Les meubles de la cuisine et de l entrée sont abimés. Les poignés de portes sont cassés. Les parties communes sont sales et le ph de la piscine est loin d être au norme. Le fond était sale. Les autres locataires ne respectaient pas les règles d'utilisation de la piscine, ils mangeaient, buvaient de l alcool et fumaient. Sans compter sur le bruit qu ils faisaient. L ambience n étaient pas du tout adapter à une famille. De plus, les seules normes contre le Covid 19 étaient le gel désinfectant à l entrée de immeuble et une affiche disant que le port du masque était obligatoire, mais comme personnel ne contrôlait, beaucoup ne le faisait pas. Je ne m'y suis pas sentir en sécuritée en cette période de pandémie.

Lage perfekt. Ausserhalb des Rummels trotzdem sehr nah zur Altstadt und zum wunderschönen Strand. Schöne Aussicht aufs Meer. Schlechte Läufer jedoch aufgepasst. Es geht ziemlich steil rauf und runter.

If was much better then expected, took a cheaper option . .but ended up better then others who paid more .. it was also one of the closest to the old town and safe area .. also had a pool .. no gold staircase, but i did not pay for that .. well worth it .. not staying long .. good for me ..

Just ok
Great location, but the apartment was so hot we were miserable. The manager did provide us fans, but we could barely sleep due to the heat. Also, it was hard to get new towels and we were there for 5 days!!! We also had to ask for more toilet paper and I didn’t think he was going to let us have more. There were hoards or ants everywhere, and no way to get rid of them.

Super emplacement à deux pas de la belle place et à qq minutes du centre très animé. Appartement très spacieux et confortable. Tout le nécessaire pour faire la cuisine. Seul bémol salle de bain avec tout confort mais certaines odeurs d’égouts. Et wifi uniquement dans cuisine et piscine. Par contre un propriétaire au top très agréable et serviable.

A weary mother who stayed in these appartments.
To whom it may concern, I am so upset for family in that it has taken me a week to submit this unbelievable disturbing experience of staying in these appartments that you advertised and awarded ratings and trip advisory, which was completely inaccurate: The kitchen window was broken for 5 days, leading out on the balcony onto the main street, leaving my children and I exposed. No sanitary /toiletries in place-basic human necessities to human hygiene. No towels of any description were replaced except for once throughout the whole stay and minimum replacement,eventhough there were five of us staying in the appartment for 11 nights No immersion heater on until I went looking for it. Green algae all around the walls of the swimming pool. Window and patio shutters were not working properly. No air conditioning in any of the rooms. This booking cost nearly 2,000 euro of my hard earned money, I returned home feeling shattered with no sleep throughout my stay. I want this followed up and a reply back.

Accueil chaleureux par Fernando. Sa maitrise du français m'a facilité la vie. Résidence à quelques centaines de mètres de la vieille ville d'albufeira et de 3 minutes de la plage. Quelques travaux de rénovation à prevoir, sinon séjour impeccable.

Fraca qualidade de serviço.
O apartamento não foi limpo em 7 dias estadia, as toalhas não foram trocadas por limpas, as camas apenas tinham um edredão e lençol por baixo, não existindo mais roupa disponível. Nunca cozinhamos no apartamento, em parte devido a uma praga de formigas, que apareciam em todo o lado, usamos sal nas janelas e portas, que apenas reduziu o seu número, aliás esta situação era do conhecimento da pessoa que nos recebeu, Sr. Fernando, que nos avisou da praga. Estacionamento muito complicado na zona e zonas envolventes.

É Aconselhável os clientes a lerem o que estão a alugar. O sr alugou um apartamento ‘’auto Suficiente ‘’ com limpeza semanal , como só ficou 6 noites , não teve limpeza ,está escrito no site e quando assina concordo , está a assinar que entendeu e leu aquilo a que tinha direito. Não requereu limpeza ( tem custo extra ) Também não requereu estacionamento privado que temos para oferecer aos nossos clientes ( tem custo extra ) Quando do check in foi avisado que havia formigas e era necessário ter cuidado em não deixar migalhas e comida espalhadas, apenas isso.... não havia nem há nenhuma ‘’praga’’ de formigas, apenas algumas minúsculas formiga que apareceram este Verão por todo o Algarve talvez devido á seca e ás altas temperaturas. Não concordo quando diz que nem cozinhou , pois o estado em que deixou a cozinha, a loiça e o forno testemunham o contrário . Também foi bastante complicado remover todo o sal fino que espalhou pelo apartamento e caixilharias, o que talvez fosse bastante pior do que uma dúzia de formigas.

We stayed august 19 .the location was excellent close to the beach and the old town . Apartment was fairly spacous with balcony looking over the pool . The apartment was clean and tidy but i would say it could be doing with an update ,bathroom was a little tired and the kitchen area . But in saying that everything worked as it should and we had fantastic holiday and would recommend these apartments

The property is located very near old town, but far enough away so you can not hear the noise. It is a small complex in a residential area. It has a small swimming pool with only a few loungers (could do with a few more). There is no bar/entertainment/reception but the management are easily contacted by mobile. The apartments are very spacious with a well-equiped kitchen. There is alocal supermarket a few minutes walk away down the first set of stairs and 5 min walk. There is a pizzeria two doors away, we got a take away from it. Overall we managed well in this apartment but it is very quiet but good location.

Once I found the property, it was apparent that the location was perfect....close to beach and old town restaurants, bars, and night life. Parking was fine with a lot directly across the street. Best part of the property was Fernando, the on site manager. He was incredibly helpful and insightful. His suggestions of beaches and places to see were spot on. He had a large bottle of water waiting for us as well as Pasteis de Nata pastries which was a nice welcome treat. Our luggage was delayed and Fernando made sure he was available to hold it when it was delivered from the airport. Downsides- extremely noisy outside until 2:00 am. Had to get earplugs to sleep. Small ants were in apartment and in bed. Very upsetting but maybe just the way it is in a tourist beach area. Fernando did say he would put more traps down. Overall I would say great price for location and size of apartment. Place could easily sleep 4 and does have a kitchen if you would like to eat in. Thank you Fernando for being such a great host. Without the ants and noise, I give a 5 star rating!

It means without a few ants a without the noisy tourists passing on the street, we had a 5 bubble review ??? That’s so very disappointed, as the noisy tourists it’s beyond us, and the ants ,if we don’t let food all over they don’t come, and here the small don’t harm anyone....we have traps for them, but we don’t use pesticides, it’s even worse and very dangerous for some people with respiratory or skin problems. Best regards

Great apartment, very big, no maid service or clean towels which would have been nice but was cleaned well before we got there. Location is ideal close to old town square about a 4 minute walk to the old town square. Owners where there for any request and very helpful with everything. Would definitely stop here again thanks!

Great location & spacious apartment with pool
Great welcome by Fernando with complimentary water and pastry. Apartment very spacious and well equipped.wiFi extremely slow but we were told an upgrade is in progress. The apartment will be due some upgrading shortly but it did meet all our needs. The swimming pool was good and the location ( Albufeira is hilly ) was close to the beach, intermarche supermarket and the strip. Finding it was interesting though as there was limited signage.would stay again.

Many thanks for your review, you are absolutely right, we are updating the apartments, slowly ,as we’re just a small family business ;) The rooftop was closed this year , for security reasons,as from now on the high level of Terraces security has changed and we are obligated to make changes in the height of the perimeter... but next year it’s going to be OK. The place to go in Algarve
The space was very clean and spacious. We booked the space the morning of our arrival and showed up to the door without contact. Despite this, the host was VERY attentive and helpful. The location is very close the the beach, restaurants, and a supermarket. The pool was a nice touch and we made use of it despite also going to the beach. We would highly recommend Sol a Sul.

Good family apartment, great location :)
Big family apartment,just stay with hubby and kids,and we had a really good time ,so close to the beach and clean swimming pool
