Disappointing fee

Great location but needs a few creature comforts
Geplaatst op 10 jul. 2019 op HotelsWe spent a long weekend at Hagan Lodge and had a lovely stay. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. We based ourselves there for easy access to the many lakes of the Salzkammergut and the location could not have been better. The receptionist was super friendly and efficient which made for a warm welcome. The cabin (we had number 40) was very spacious and generally well equipped. However, there were a few things that could be improved...there is only a bathroom on the groundfloor with the 2 bedrooms upstairs - This was not an issue for us but could be for some families. The bathroom itself is really large but has a tiny shower cabin crammed into the corner where there is so much room to house a bigger unit. The terrace is quite cramped and doesn't really fit the outdoor furniture provided; also it isn't covered, but there is a small umbrella. On the day we arrived we found that the fridge wasn't turned on. As it is self-catering I think it should be turned on from the day you arrive and it would also be good if there were ice trays provided.
Regardless of the above, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again due to the location.
