I’ve stayed here many times in the past year or so. I’m mostly impressed by the management and staff. Always courteous and helpful—unlike other places I’ve stayed while in Amsterdam. Some of the apartments and amenities inside are more dated than others, but overall I continue to stay here because the apartments are a good value.

Everything is wonderful. Apartment is really clean and new. Fully equipped, towels, shampoos, coffees etc. place has also food area with different tastes all around world. Close to public transport and comfy place. Very happy with my stay 8 nights.

Great apt and location. Close to tram line. Nice escape from the hevtic downtown area. Foodhallin next door is great for dinner. Several restaurants nearby. Excellent breakfast at the DeHallen hotel. Great comfortable place to stay right in Amsterdam
Very comfortable stay in a very spacious apartment in Amsterdam. We loved our stay at Apartments de Hallen. It was really easy to get everywhere via tram, bike, or walking. It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable; the WiFi worked great; and they brought our bags up to our second floor room which was really nice. I can’t say enough positive things about our stay here. Couldn’t recommend it more!

L’appartement pour 2 personnes est excellent! Nous avons été surpris par la taille de l’appartement! lave linge+lessives, machine à café+dosettes, lave vaisselle+Capsules... thé, sucre, liquide vaisselle, éponge... Un appartement très bien équipé! Cependant le bruit résonne un peu dans le hall où se trouve plusieurs magasins. Non n’avons pas du tout été déçu de notre séjour! Merci encore

Live like a local
It was an amazing stay. It wasn't a first time here, but it did not disappoint. Both units were awesome, although one was a bit smaller than the other. They both have great amenities: a complete kitchen, spacious living area, a washing machine, two comfy rooms. The staff were friendly, and always went out of their way to help. Saying it's a home away from home is a cliche, but it's really true in this case: the place was somewhere you'd always want to go home to after a long day of exploring the city. The location was equally great: there's a food hall, cinemas, artsy shops in De Hallen; a string of commercial establishments along Kinkerstraat; and a vibrant street market in Ten Katestraat. Tram stops are just around the corner, so it's quite easy to roam around the city. If you want to live like a local, this is the place to stay.

Amazing Apartments!
This place was absolutely incredible!! We had a two bedroom for two of us and it was so clean and airy. I especially loved the heated floors in the bathroom! The kitchen was immaculate! Whilst we had some teething issues with some appliances in the apartment, the Hotel staff were excellent in resolving these issues. We rate accommodation and hotel 11 out of 10. A pleasant stay with almost all necessary amenties you want for daily living - washing machine with drying function, dishwasher, hairdryer, etc.. The staff are very helpful and responsive. Although the reception is a few blocks from the apartment, you can tell them what you need through email. But you have to be prepared to climb the stairs as the bedroom is one floor up. Can walk to central Amsterdam & most museums in the city within 30 mins.

A most enjoyable stay
We recently stayed for 9 nights. You have to visit the Hotel De Hallen (about 3 minutes walk away from the apartments) to checkin. The people at reception made us feel really welcome, and provided plenty of information as well as checking up on us in the apartment during our stay. The apartments are well laid out. There are no lifts in the apartment building so you need to be comfortable using stairs. The bed is super comfy. The room has underfloor heating and was really cosy, even during days when it was freezing outside. The kitchen was functional and we cooked several meals during our stay. An in room washer/dryer made keeping our laundry up to date easy. It was extremely quiet at night so sleeping wasn't an issue. WIFI was free and fast. There are numerous tram stops within a couple of minutes walk. A well stocked supermarket about 100 meters away. Vondel Park is an easy 10 minute walk. In summary a real gem in this beautiful city.

Wonderful apartments - great location.
Loved staying at these apartments. Great location. Easy walking distance to any place in the city. Great restaurants close by not to mention the food hall at De Hallen. Only downside was the signage needs to be better as there was always someone pressing our intercom button at all hours - lost people I guess.

Wir wurden sehr freundliche empfangen und in das Apartment geführt; trotz unserer verspäteten Anreise. Alle Hotelmitarbeiter waren ausnehmend freundlich und hilfsbereit. Während unseres Aufenthaltes bekamen wir immer wieder kleine Aufmerksamkeiten und handgeschriebene Karten vom Hotel. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt (das Sakrotan blieb zum ersten Mal im Koffer!). Einfach nur zu empfehlen. Wir haben auf Reisen noch nie so komfortabel gewohnt.Einfach perfekt!

Excellent choice for stay in Amsterdam.
The check in service was quick and friendly. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. The bed was comfortable with good quality linen. The daily cleaning service was good, however it was at a different time every day, making it difficult to plan your activities. The location is excellent, away from the crowded and expensive tourist areas but close to public transport, foodhallen, filmhallen and market.

Lots of space, clean, modern and convenient. Really helpful and nice staff. Overall a great way to live if you want to experience amsterdam. If I had to say something negative it'd be that people sometimes make loud noises just outside the apartment during nighttime as it is located in a passage.

Great apartment in a location that's authentic
This is a relatively new apartment. We loved the location since it was close enough to everything while being away from the crapfest that the touristy centrum can be. Foodhallen is in the same complex and is a great place to hangout in the evening with a nice young local crowd. The apartment itself is very nice and not claustrophobic like hotel rooms can be. Only slight negative is there is no air-conditioning. Service in the apartment is great. They always left us small treats after cleaning the apartment.
