De appartementen die achteraan liggen hebben enorm veel last van geluidshinder van het vlakbijgelegen centraal station. 's Nachts rijden er goederentreinen en het lawaai is immens. Daar bovenop was er nog ee hoogtewerker aan de gevel aan het werken ter hoogte van ons appartement. Nog meer lawaai. Dat is de reden waarom ik zeker niet meer zal teruggaan. Verder zijn de appartementen top qua comfort, interieur, netheid, enz... Ook een vriendelijke ontvangst.

Ligging prima. 200 meter van het centraal station. Tussen het centraal station en muziekgebouw aan het ij. 2 kamer appartement had stadszicht en keek uit op de achterzijde van de kantoren en de bibliotheek en het Hilton. Keuken is heel netjes met vaatwasser oven etc.Ontbijt bestaat uit een box met witte boterhammen. Melk, sinaasappelsap room boter en een cereal. Prima maar weinig bijzonders. Appartement wordt niet dagelijks schoongemaakt. Scheiding tussen woonkamer en slaapkamer bestaat uit een vurenhouten schuifdeur met daarin een soort sterk papier. Niet lichtdicht en geluiddicht en kwam erg breekbaar over. De douche is prima. Koffie, vaatwascapsules, chocolademelkpoeder, kofffiemelk en wc papier en schone handdoeken kun je zonder kosten om vragen. De bedden waren schoon maar vond de matras redelijk hard. De medewerkersters aan de receptie zijn allemaal zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk.

The pictures match the reality! We were a tad scared about the trains noises (because we read something about it in other reviews but no noises at all -and we were at the first floor). We spent 3 nights with a small dog and the stay was very nice. There were two more dogs in the building and they payed attention to don’t give close rooms. I think I’m gonna chose this chain also in others countries.

We stayed here for 5 nights in the river-view 2 bedroom suite. It was fantastic! The views were beautiful and the suite was very spacious. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The staff members are very friendly and attentive. The amenities were great, too. We had been travelling for 2 weeks by the time we arrived at Erik Vokël, so it was great to have a washing machine. We also ate in on night, making a simple meal in the kitchen. It was so easy! There was everything you need in the pantry and even a dishwasher. Fair to say that we made the most of everything in the suite. It’s about a 15min walk to Dam Square so it was very convenient. Highly recommend!

Location: very convenient, near Amsterdam central train station. Amenities nearby: Excellent ! Supermarket, a few restaurants, etc. Apartment: Superb! Check in staff Mr Norbert was prompt, polite and helpful. The apartment is equipped with a kitchen that is convenient to warm up food or do some light cooking. The beds are so comfortable! It will be perfect if the apartment has toilets as we have 5 of us.The smart tv had some games to keep my children occupied as we do our packing. Price: reasonable consider the location. Overall: 9/10

Pretty good!
Nice stay. Close to station but no street noise which is great. Reception staff are nice. It would be good if there was a few more tea bags/coffee pods available. The bedrooms’ doors are sort of bamboo, which is very thin and flimsy so reccomebd changing that to sometbing stronger A bit expensive for what it is.

Virkelig sødt personale, god central beliggenhed. Gode senge og fint værelse. Dog skal man lige være obs på at et værelse med byudsigt kan være lig med et værelse med vinduer på hems, langt over hovedhøjde. Vi følte således at vi var i en kælder, selvom vi reelt havde udsigt til kanalen. Andre værelser har glas panorama vinduer, hvilket også er det man ser på alle billeder.

Very good location. Space was as described. Beds and couch were large and comfortable. My only complaint was the 1x week cleaning was sub standard. Basically replaced towels and bedding. Disappointed by the inconsiderate evening front desk host who couldn’t lift a finger to help me locate the trash but did just point to the dumpster. No thank you! In any country that’s rude.

This property is in an excellent location and the suite is spacious and attractive. The train station is very close and the distance to downtown is easily walkable. Great apartment
We had a lovely stay here for a long weekend girls trip. We shared an apartment amongst 5 of us, there were three bedrooms and a sofa bed. We enjoyed the comfort of the apartment. It was very clean, however upon arriving there was a slight smell of sick in the kitchen/entrance area. This was cleaned again promptly and there were no further issues. The staff was friendly and we loved coming back to the apartment to relax after a long day of activities.

When we arrived, the front desk person realized that the room we had been given would not be ideal for two of the five people in our party due to their age. She couldn't switch our 6 night stay to another room, but she did offer to allow us to switch after our first night, which we took. Such thoughtfulness!

Nice apartment
We stayed in a 2 BR, 1 bath unit for 5 nights. It's a great location for public transportation - Central Station is a 10-12 minute walk. You can also walk to Dam Square (palace plaza) and the big shopping district in 12-15 minutes. The big museums are on the other side of town - too far to walk. The apartment is great, but not quite perfect. The kitchen has all the appliances you need, plus a full set of dishes and a few pots and pans. But it doesn't have everything you'd want to really cook a full meal and has very little counter space. But, there is a grocery store 5 minutes away with a great selection of prepared foods that you can just eat (or heat up). The design of the apartment is lacking a bit. There are not enough outlets! In one BR, the bed is squished between 2 walls, so you have to climb in/out from the foot - with no bedside tables. The other BR only has 1 bedside table. There is no chest of drawers for your clothes in either BR. There is a hanging area, with 2 very low shelves (you have to get down on your hands and knees to use them) & one very high shelf that most people could not reach. The bathroom has only 1 towel bar, for an apartment with 2 king beds. We constantly had to figure out where to hang our wet towels. There is a serious lack of counter space in the bathroom - one narrow shelf on the wall and no counter around the sink. It was great to have a washer/dryer - but beware that it takes 4 hours to wash and dry your clothes. Hotel staff were very nice
