Casa Seco: Dicht bij de stad van Taos & Taos Ski Area

Casa Seco is gelegen op een acre van grasland en binnen een korte wandeling naar het schilderachtige stadje Arroyo Seco. Deze twee slaapkamer luchtige woning heeft uitzicht op de bergen vanuit elk raam, omringd door weilanden en een biologische boerderij. Casa Seco is een korte afstand tot de Taos Ski Valley aan de ene kant en de binnenstad van Taos anderzijds. Ten minste drie restaurants liggen op loopafstand, samen met galeries en winkels.

Casa Seco is een Adobe huis met Westers charme. Saltillo tegelvloeren houden dit huis koel in de zomer, in vloerverwarming houdt het gezellig in de winter. De keuken is volledig uitgerust. Zithoek heeft lederen meubels en een omgevingstemperatuur kiva open haard.

Slaapkamer heeft een king size bed dat kan worden opgesplitst naar twee eenpersoonsbedden. Master bad met jacuzzi. Tweede slaapkamer heeft twee eenpersoonsbedden en wegrollen bed.

Er zijn veel leuke activiteiten voor alle leeftijden in de Taos gebied zijn: skiën en snowboarden op de Taos Ski Valley, en 3 andere skigebieden in korte afstand, de bergen en woestijn wandelen om rivieren en watervallen, rotsklimmen (we kunnen helpen met reserveringen) , raften en kajakken, ballonvaren, golf, tennis en mountainbiken. Wereldklasse restaurants, winkels, een bioscoop, waaronder een wekelijkse kunst filmreeks, musea, kunstgalerijen, lessen, en workshops. Iets voor iedereen van kan genieten.

De Taos Ski Valley heeft vele leuke evenementen gedurende de winter; de Taos Film Festival vindt plaats in maart; de World Poetry Bout in juni; de Solar Music Festival in juli; de zondeval Arts Festival in september; Mountain Film Festival en het Festival van de Ballon in oktober. Bezoek de Taos Pueblo de oudste permanent bezette structuur in Noord-Amerika met rondleidingen en diverse festivals open voor het publiek.

Clean & classic Taos house in quiet Arroyo Seco. Other homes/casita nearby but felt private. Huge picture window gave views of Taos Mountain and surrounding peaks from sofa and chair in living room or dining area. Sunset views if we went outside out back. My dog enjoyed the large grassy yard. We were only there 2 days and were gone a lot; kitchen had basics for food prep. We were glad we brought our own coffee. Instructions were clear; photos and house description were accurate in the listing. We would definitely return.

This is our second stay here...

This place is ideally located in Arroyo Seco near Taos Ski Valley. We stayed here with our kids for spring break two years ago and booked it again this year. The host is responsive and it was easy to get in and out. It's a comfortable house for a family and makes it easy for us to enjoy our trip together.

Window to Beauty

This cabin was "just right." Two bedrooms, two baths, full kitchen, and a magnificent view of the mountain. A short walk to Arroyo Seco brings great food, boho galleries, and secret gardens. We loved the location, the quiet setting, and the proximity to Taos.

Gorgeous Views!

Gorgeous views in a very comfortable, well-appointed home made for a great stay! Walking distance to the little village of Arroyo Seco and about a 20-25 minute drive to both Taos and the Ski Valley. The property manager was communicative and gave clear directions and instructions. We loved our visit!

Great Getaway!

Perfect spot!

We will definitely be back! A perfect accommodation for a family of 4 with dogs—right between TSV and Taos town for easy access to both. The space was super comfortable, well-laid out, clean, and quiet. Big front yard for the dogs. Love that it had two bathrooms. Donna was very communicative and kind, as well.

Beautiful property, beautiful views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Arroya Seco. We come to Taos every year we can, but have never stayed in this area. We loved exploring the little town and several restaurants with delicious food, and it was close enough to Taos to go into town (farmers market!) without it being burdensome. The home was clean and had everything we needed. There was an issue with the internet service (beyond the control of Donna the owner) but she did everything she could to help solve the problem. We absolutely loved sitting on the couch looking out the huge windows at the autumn colors. Thanks for the great stay!

Another great stay!

Host was very responsive and accommodating. The property met all of our needs. We have enjoyed staying here twice. We loved being out in the country near Arroyo Seco yet so close to the little town and easy access to the highway to Taos and to the ski area and nearby hiking trails. House is quiet, clean and cozy. I also appreciate that the bedding and towels are washed in unscented soap. Thank you for being a great host!

Lovely home and location

This was a perfect house for our family's week-long vacation in Taos. Arroyo Seco had lots of charm, tasty restaurants, and fun shops. We loved that we had close access to hiking trails, the ski valley area, and the city of Taos. The home was well-stocked with kitchen supplies, and our family of four had plenty of room. The patio area had an excellent view of the mountains. Donna was an incredible host - she even loaned us a battery charger when we had car trouble during our stay. Thank you!

Close to Taos Ski Valley in a cozy village

We’ve been to Taos several times, but this was our first time staying in Arroyo Seco. We loved the location and there was plenty of space for our family. It was easy to find and in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from restaurants and a market. We loved the views and fireplace. This should be on your list if you plan to spend time on the mountain.

Wonderful stay in Arroyo Seco

This was the perfect house for our stay in Arroyo Seco. Donna was extremely attentive and helpful for the entirety of our trip. She answered questions promptly prior to us coming and kept in touch during the trip. She checked-in every couple of days to make sure we were comfortable. The check-in and check-out processes were very easy. It was very easy to access all of the information we needed (WIFI password, TV instructions, etc.). We couldn't have asked for a better house. It was perfect for our family. The house was very clean. It had plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was probably the most well-equipped kitchen I have ever seen. It had everything we needed to cook. Finally, the location couldn't have been better. It's a short walk into the town of Arroyo Seco. It is also well-positioned between the ski valley and the town of Taos, so both are short drives away. The area was quiet, and the scenery was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.
