Modern - Vintage appartement door het Akropolis-museum

Dit is een prachtig appartement van 125 m². De inrichting is modern, gebouwd rond een aantal vintage art-decomeubels uit de jaren 30. Het bevindt zich aan de achterzijde van het Akropolismuseum en op minder dan 100 meter van de straat Dionysiou Areopagitou en het metrostation Acropolis.
Het appartement bevindt zich op de 2e verdieping van een typisch Atheens gebouw en is geschikt voor maximaal 8 personen. Het heeft drie slaapkamers: de groene kamer met een tweepersoonsbed en een eigen badkamer. De Paarse kamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden die gemakkelijk een tweede tweepersoonsbed kunnen worden. De blauwe kamer met een eenpersoonsbed dat een ander uitschuifbaar eenpersoonsbed met kwaliteitsmatras verbergt. In de woonkamer staat een bank met een opklapbed voor twee personen.
Het appartement heeft 2 badkamers en een volledig uitgeruste keuken. U zult tijdens uw verblijf van uw gratis koffie genieten.
Vanuit de ruime woonkamer, vanuit de eetkamer en vanuit de groene kamer, hebt u toegang tot het balkon aan de voorzijde (oost) met uitzicht op het Akropolis-museum en een gedeeltelijk uitzicht op de Akropolis-rots. Er is nog een balkon aan de andere kant van het appartement, tegenover de Blauwe kamer en de Paarse kamer (westen), met uitzicht op de werven van typisch oude Atheense huizen.
U kunt ook de toegang vragen tot onze daktuin (18.00 - 20.00 uur) met een prachtig uitzicht op de Akropolis en de stad Athene. Daarboven kunt u koffie drinken of een glas wijn drinken onder de Atheense hemel, terwijl u geniet van het spectaculaire uitzicht op de Akropolis!Houd er echter rekening mee dat u vriendelijk wordt verzocht zich strikt aan de rustuurtjes en de regels voor het schoon en netjes houden van het dak te houden.
Het appartement heeft een snelle WiFi-verbinding, een 32-Watt led-tv met een webbrowser en airconditioning units in elke kamer.
Natuurlijk zijn de bedden al opgemaakt, met nieuwe gestreken lakens van het merk Coco-Mat van topkwaliteit. Verder zijn er schone handdoeken voor ieder van jullie.

The place was perfect for our family of 5. There are 3 bedrooms: a master with bathroom en suite, and two other ones with two single beds in each and a bathroom shared among these rooms. There is a living room where you can sleep on the couch and all doors close so it could be private somewhat. The only complain is that the washing machine did not work. Maybe user error but doubt it. George was super helpful and friendly. He arranged transportation for our family from the airport to the apartment, then from there to the port (took a cruise), and he’ll have a driver for us waiting to take us back to the airport after our cruise.

Stayed for 2 nights and the apartment was comfortable for 8 of us on a family trip. George was very helpful and even arranged for transportation from the airport. Excellent location. The Acropolis is just minutes away. Would definitely stay again.

We had 2 days in Athens before our cruise. The apartment is conveniently located near the Acropolis Museum. The apartment was clean and had a great floor plan with all the amenities. The host arranged transfers from airport and to cruise terminal, which was wonderful. The only hiccup was the VRBO listing said the deposit was due at arrival While at the airport I received message stating that the arrival instructions would not be provided until i paid the deposit through a link that i did not receive and a company we had never heard of. received or heard of. deposionhicvup Vz

This property is well set-up with everything needed, and the location could not be better. It is spacious with a charming balcony. Please note that that there are steps to climb before you get to the elevator. I submitted some problems to be fixed to the property manager, and if he fixes them, I could give this property a 5-star review.

Great location, 5 minute walk to the metro and the Acropolis. Stores and restaurants are nearby although it's not a popular going-out destination area. Management company was responsive. It is a high quality apartment with nice wood floors, suberb shades on the windows, some good pots, and an elevator in the building. But I almost gave it 4 stars because it could use some care:1) the doors creak loudly - a little grease for the hinges would take only 5 minutes to apply 2) two of the beds (the twin bed with trundle) had no mattress pads on the bed under the sheets. This is unsanitary. I put some old small extra comforters under the sheets; even when I asked for mattress pads they didn't come (they did bring new sheets and towels though).3) The trundle bed in the single twin bedroom has a bend in the frame which means the mattress is quite slanted.4) There were barely enough covers. The bed covers were nice but not that thick, and they needed some nice extra ones.5) The living room has doors that enclose it which was great, but the one couch in there is the size of a twin bed with a trundle smaller than a twin. The trundle pops up to connect with the couch part. The listing says "2 double sofa beds" which is totally false. 1 sofa bed only. There were no sheets provided for this sofa bed.6) 4 for cleanliness b/c the floors were dusty7) dishwasher doesn't work; there are no kitchen towels or hot pads.8) The towels are very thin; they provided only 1 per person for 8 days.

Location is amazing. Apartment was super charming and exactly what we wanted. Coffee, bakery, grocery, UNESCO world heritage site all in the neighborhood. Couldn’t have been better!

A fabulous 6 nights in Athens and the location of our apartment was outstanding. It was a great size for us 4 single ladies with plenty of room for more. We thoroughly enjoyed the use of the rooftop balcony however having access to the balcony without having to book would have been preferred. The communication was excellent from start to finish.

This apartment is a located by the Acropolis, restaurants, marketplace, stores and metro station. You couldn’t ask for a better location to explore Athens. The apartment has air conditioning in every room. It is in a quiet neighborhood so very little outside noise. The apartment is very nicely decorated and very clean. We would stay here again.

The arrival and checkin went okay. The location is just minutes from the Acropolis Museum and entrance area to the Acropolis and the Metro station. There are a ton of restaurants near the Acropolis Museum but I recommend venturing a little further away to get better prices and better food. The apartment was not cleaned as thoroughly as we would have expected if a guest was coming to my home but was acceptable. The dishwasher control panel was missing so it didn’t work. There’s an upstairs terrace for viewing the Acropolis but it was locked except for a short time from 6-8pm so we didn’t get to check it out. The beds in Greece are extremely firm. This was true of another location we were at earlier in the month. It claims four bedrooms but it’s three bedrooms with sleeper sofa in the living room. Overall, it worked for our needs and I’d stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment for a family of 6. The apartment is conveniently located at the central of all attractions and there are many restaurants near by. George and his team are super responsive and helped arranging rides from airport to the apartment. The apartment is also spacious and clean and well equipped with comfortable beds. Elevator was a great plus for getting luggage up the stair. We had a great time. Thank you for hosting us!

We were fortunate to find this lovely apartment, walking distance to all the ancient sites in Athens that we wanted to see, including the Acropolis and Hadrian's library, plus surrounded by great restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. Our hosts were very communicative and helpful, organizing rides and helping stow our luggage when we arrived a bit early in the day. All five of us were very comfortable! We had a terrific stay and loved exploring the Plaka neighborhood from this perfect location. Highly recommended!

This rental could not have been more conveniently located! It was so close to the Acropolis and museum, great restaurants, grocery, etc. It was also very walkable to other major sites in Athens. The hosts had great communication and was very accommodating in helping with our luggage before check in and after check out. I will warn there is absolutely zero parking anywhere nearby - so not the place to stay with a vehicle. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and we loved that we could catch up on some laundry while there, too! Thank you!
