The hotel may not be an old historic building, but it is fully equipped. From the hotel you can overview 1 of the 12 historic entrance city gates. The hotel is near Bologna train station and within walking distance of Piazza Maggiore. We had a very nice stay here.

Solide keuze
Locatie is prima. Net buiten het centrum en naast het centraal station. Checkin was vlot en netjes. Kamer is zeer ruim en groot bed. Ruime badkamer, maar jammer van douche in bad. Ook met auto goed bereikbaar.

We hebben met een aantal vrienden genoten van ons bezoek aan de stad. We hadden kamers met telkens 2 bedden geboekt en die ook gekregen (wat vaak niet het geval is). De nieuwe kamers op de foto's krijg je wel niet, tenzij je er extra voor betaalt. Onze niet-gerenoveerde kamer was in orde. Van het station dat vlakbij gelegen is heb je helemaal geen last. Afstand tot de Piazza Majore was 700m onder de portici van de Via Independeza, een mooie wandeling. We werden vriendelijk geholpen in onze zoektocht naar en bij de reservering van onze restaurants. Het ontbijt was ok, maar niets speciaals. We zagen ook crew van SN, KLM & BA die hier logeerden, wat toch een goed teken is.

Excellent location just outside Bologna Train station. Super clean, high quality bedding and comfortable bed mattress. A little bit frugal compared to all other NH Collection hotels I stayed at. No iron and board in the room, or to the room. Must go to the fifth floor and iron there. That was a bummer! Also, no free water bottle daily. No coffee machine in the room. These are things I am accustomed to finding in any NH Collection hotel. Price point was really good though.

Bom, mas pode melhorar
O hotel tem boa localização, bem perto da estação ferroviária central, e oferece instalações confortáveis, mas não está cumprindo tudo o que promete. Reservei quarto com direito a roupões de banho e passados dois dias tive de pedir na recepção para que me entregassem o roupão, se não ficava sem ele toda a estadia. Também tem ficado em falta na reposição de chá, açúcar e leite concentrado para aquele chá ou café no quarto antes de dormir. Ora falta o açúcar, ora falta o leite ou o chá. São pequenas coisas mas que fazem diferença para os viajantes. Aliás, o hotel poderia oferecer uma garrafa de água grátis, o custo é mínimo e seria muito simpático.

Gutes Standardhotel in Bahnhofsnähe an einem ruhigen Platz. Zimmer eher klein und etwas dunkel. Zimmer wurden vor einiger Zeit renoviert, aber nicht die Türen. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet.

They offered the room to me 30-60 minutes before check in time, which was appreciated. There was a wait but once it’s my turn it’s fast and smooth. The room was spacious and well designed. The reason I did not rate it five out of five for overall rating is because I asked for a removable luggage rack in advance and it was not there when I arrived, had to ask for it againZ A glass had water in it, likely due to residual from dishwasher, did not get wiped out. All minor issues, so overall still happy with the check in. Comfortable bed, clean, well maintained and organized. My suitcase was broken in when I went out for sightseeing, asked the front desk to investigate, they said they would follow up. Unlike Belgium and Netherlands, once you are checked in, all were well prepared, they don’t find reasons or intentionally made one or two things bad so they could have a reason to come fix, they don’t bother you. Here in Italy, it’s opposite, always issues here or there, either big or small, they could not do it right beforehand, and allow you to have a no distraction stay. This hotel is good. Good staff attitude.

highly recommend !
Absolutely beautiful hotel right by the train station and within walking distance of the center of town. Very clean and bright. A/C worked great, and nice shower. Great place for us on last night of a month's vacation.
