Heerlijk verblijf in top hotel
Prachtig hotel. Ontbijtbuffet was uitzonderlijk goed en bijna altijd live muziek (piano, viool) maken lrettige sfeer compleet. Service en vriendelijkheid staan bovenaan. Spa en massage is ook zeer aan te bevelen. Heerlijk verblijf gehad!

Zeer mooi hotel, vriendelijk personeel, zeer ruime en nette kamers. Een aanrader is zeker het ontbijt mee te nemen. Het hotel heeft ook een uitstekende ligging. Van de wellness zijn we iets teleur gesteld, het is er mooi en proper maar nogal klein ten opzichte van de rest van het hotel.

Het is echt een paleis. Alles ziet er glanzend uit. Bagage wordt netjes behandeld. Dagelijks werd de kamer schoongemaakt en de lakens ververst.

Wow! This hotel is amazing! The staff is very friendly and thoughtful, the service is on point. We got upgraded to a junior suite for free! Everything is highly luxurious but in a pleasant way. The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are beautiful and everything is very clean. The spa is very nice as well! Thanks for delivering an amazing experience, we will definitely visit again.

The building is stunning inside and out. Our room (grand room city view) was enormous and well worth spending a little more; the walk in wardrobe was a very pleasant and welcome surprise. The spa has its own elevator; the pool, saunas and staff were very welcoming after a long day sightseeing. All staff around the hotel are very attentive, helpful and quick in all that they do, the breakfast area is truly beautiful and the hot menu has a fair amount in addition to the buffet. It is located less than a minute from the metro (M2), buses and trams, which can generally get you to a tourist location within 15 mins or less. I would definitely stay here again, a lovely experience and a great treat to yourself!

The property is very nice, the rooms are a bit outdated. I would not stay again because the location is terrible. The surrounding neighborhood is dirty, smelly, and grungy. Really took back from the nice hotel experience.

One of our worst experiences due to in-room theft, which was have very strong was by housekeeping staff. We do not make these allegations lightly, but there is very good evidence. Moreover, it seems to be a common problem at this hotel as mentioned by other guests. Our biggest gripe with the hotel is how they handled it -- preferring to brush it under the rug and not deal with it. It is their interest to not publically admit the issue, but it doesn't detract from the fact they have a duty to keep guests safe from harms such as the one we experienced. This is a strong failure from the hotel, the group, and even the LHW association.

A suíte Júnior apesar de confortável apresentou-se com problemas no chuveiro, sem nenhum pressão de água. Realmente muito deficitário. Temperatura do quarto muito elevada, sem condições de regulagem do ar-condicionado, pois travado para alterações. A existência do café New York, símbolo do hotel traz muito desconforto aos hóspedes, pois uma multidão permanentemente perturba o sossego daqueles que estão hospedados no hotel e ao que parece o hotel não se importa com isso, preferindo o marketing de manter inúmeras pessoas em fila na porta do hotel e no lobby. A recepção fria e muito mecânica, especialmente pelo atendente Ádám…realmente um dos hotéis da rede que precisa melhorar muito em termos de atendimento 5 estrelas. Há outras opções melhores em Budapeste…Fours Seasons e Matild.

Not worth the 5 stars!
It was a beautiful big room! However, I wasn’t able to sleep my whole stay! I could hear every step, doors opening and closing and people and many other random noise! Also the room wasn’t exactly the same as the pictures. Wasn’t a big difference but I got a chair instead of a couch. :) The breakfast is honestly less than average in terms of taste and freshness of fruits/veggies. And the breakfast area is veryyyy chaotic. There is people that come to the breakfast area and takes a lot of pictures and go again, it kept on like that the whole time. Even when there were signs that supposedly should stop other people from disturbing hotel guests during breakfast. They just went over the sign! Otherwise the lounge area is beautiful! But that’s it!

Everyting was perfect! On the first day, we asked the reception to change our room as we wanted to move to a closer room, and they immediately accepted and changed it. Our room was very large, clean and beautiful. We had our breakfast at the open buffet at the New York Cafe. It was amazing. The waiters were very fast, the food was very good. I was very pleased.

The interior of the hotel property is magnificent. Renovated and retains all the old world charm. The breakfast room and the White Salon and magnificent in the Belle Epoque architecture and finishes! Spectacular!! Unfortunately the tourist from the New York Cafe are a constant bother and the invade the restaurant trying to get good selfies. Putting that aside, the service and atmosphere are FIVE STAR. The rooms are large, grand, and well appointed. Overall a wonderful experience. :)

A pleasant stay in Budapest
We are a couple that stayed overnight at the Anantara in Budapest and had a pleasant stay. We just had a few minor issues: the A/C wasn't working properly which meant our room was very hot in the middle of the night. The staff was friendly throughout the hotel and the property is very lovely.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel to celebrate’a special birthday’, it is an amazing hotel, couldn’t fault anything about it. Cleanliness, staff, food all first class. Budapest is a beautiful city.
