My family and I had a great time- a beautiful resort with good dining options and plenty of things to do. The Habanero seafood restaurant was a favorite of ours and the hospitality across the resort was top-tier. Overall great first time stay at a Hyatt and we would definitely go back and stay at other Hyatts.

Our weekend trip to Hyatt Ziva in Cancun was meant to be a special celebration for my sister's birthday, but it turned into a distressing experience. On the last night, a security officer falsely accused us of smoking on the balcony, which we categorically denied. Despite offering to allow them to inspect the room to prove our innocence, they refused. The situation escalated when the security officer tried to make me sign a $600 citation and even threatened to evict us if I didn't comply. The hotel called the police, and I was forced to sign the citation under duress to avoid my entire family being taken to jail. Even after signing, we were still evicted and had to find alternative accommodation late at night. The staff's handling of the situation was unprofessional and showed a complete lack of empathy. This experience not only ruined our vacation but also caused significant stress to my elderly mother. I cannot recommend Hyatt Ziva in Cancun under any circumstances due to the appalling treatment we received. This hotel has tarnished our vacation and left us with an enduring negative impression of the brand. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Dear Benyamin,Thank you for your comments.Unfortunately, being a family friendly resort our policies about smoking are very adamant. Rules are explained and signed upon check-in. Also, bad behaviour towards the team is penalized with eviction as explained before as well, this with purpose of keeping an ambiance of mutual respect.We are going to share this feedback with our respective teams to reinforce our policies.

Hyatt Ziva Cancun was an incredible experience. The staff is mazing, everyone there makes you feel welcomed. The food was great no complaints, our favorite was Tres Cervezas, chef Maritza and chef Martin along with our server Josue and Felix always went above and beyond. I miss this place already. The security was tight and organized, so no strangers were getting in. The resort has accommodations for family and adults only. Most of the pools are for both, but if staying in the adult only part of the resort, you can go to the roof top pool. The food and drinks are good!

The staff and cleanliness made the property fantastic. Kidz Club is amazing and the resort lends itself to those traveling with or without children. The beaches are amazing and so are the expansive pools. Would give the place ten stars if I could.

We have made this our Paradise!! We been here before and will come here again!! The staff at every part of the resort go way beyond to make you feel like you are the only people there. You have Sofia who takes care of food and beverages that is a shining star and always upbeat and helpful. You have Alejandra that oversees Tre Cervezas, The Coffee shop and the Sweet Shop. She is always making sure you are accommodated and have everything you want or need. Moongate restaurant has Freddie, Jonathan and Alex. They did everything from fixing our meal to taking photos of us and with them. The Resort is amazing, the only problem is the time gos so quickly and we have to leave to come back home. We can’t wait to come again and see friends that we made. We will stay in touch with them until we arrive again.
