I recommend this hotel!

Very friendly staff. Very comfortable rooms with terrace overlooking the golf area. Good wifi. Plenty parking availability. Very nice breakfast. Food in bar was OK. I didn't try the restaurant. Close to several larger cities, so nice for business travellers that want to relax after a day's work.

Heel leuk hotel, wel een beetje afgelegen maar midden in het groen. Mooie en grote kamers, heel lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt.

First the poor points- executive room booked - shower door missing led to water over bathroom floor, poor workmanship of not finishing the sealing of the shower control. No towel rail to dry towels. Glass shard in shower which I stepped on and it embedded in my foot. Shower tray dirty not been cleaned properly. Bedroom floor not hoovered well as found a very large needle which was waiting to be stepped on. Little things like this leave an impression of not really caring. Housekeeping need to raise their game as I’m not sure I’d return. Positives- staff were great especially when the issues of glass, needles and poor cleanliness were raised. Bar staff were great nice range of bar meals and good selection of drinks. Overall I feel standards in some areas have slipped and that’s a shame.

Excellent hotel, sub par service

Hotel was lovely, very comfortable bed. The shower wasn’t giving off hot water and when reported to reception there wasn’t so much as an apology, pretty disappointing when you’re paying good money, you expect better service

Lovely stay but expected more

It was a nice stay. The room was nice, buffet breakfast was excellent. The pool was fun. The checking in part experience was disappointing. My staff member didn’t offer a smile or communication, we weren’t given a warm welcome. As it was my wife’s birthday stay I felt more could have been done.

Decent rooms but amenities need some attention

I had booked the Vale because of the pool and spa facilities. However, the pool facilities which are included in the hotel stay are a bit dated and could do with some renovation. I ended up hardly using the facilities because of this. The room itself was very nice, comfy and spacious. Could have done with a better clean of the floor as was lots of hair in the bathroom. The staff were nice, but didn't make an effort to be overly friendly and welcoming.

Minor changes to make it great

Good facilities- gym in particular. But check in was slow (our booking not showing), resolved by lovely staff who seemed to be doing their best, but systems not efficient. Some decor tired and cleanliness lacking (eg dirty grout). Little things that could and should be sorted out. Serving staff in bar and at breakfast lovely and attentive
