One thing I wish I knew before booking was the timing of being able to leave our bags prior to check-in. We arrived in Chicago early in the morning and got to the hotel around 6 am. We asked if we could leave our bags until check-in and were told that the person who deals with bags would not be in until 7-7:30 am. We ended up waiting until 8:30 am until the designated staff came in. We were then told that we had to get our bags before 4 pm, which is when the staff member's shift ends. Maybe we should have called first to ask, but for a 4-star hotel, I expected more flexible hours.
Other less important gripes: no "Do not disturb" sign, I think housekeeper might have vacuumed because I came back with my charging cable under a heavy table which caused it to become frayed and damaged.
Overall, it was an OK experience. It was clean, staff was friendly, and it is in a very convenient location. I think if I came back to Chicago though, I would pick a different hotel.
