Best kept secret

Clean well appointed property in a quiet neighborhood yet close to shopping/grocery stores, gas and restaurants. Traveling with a handicapped adult child having bedrooms and bathrooms on the main level was perfect. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Front Range View

The house was very well appointed. Had everything you needed. It was welcoming and comfortable. We had 6 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. We stayed 4 days and the only complaint would be that the propane tanks for the grill and fire pit should not be the responsibility of the renters. We had some beautiful weather to enjoy the evening on the deck with the beautiful front range views but had to cut it short because all of the propane tanks were empty. It was a great stay and a beautiful home with everything you could possibly need. We would definitely recommend it to others and stay there again next time we are out in Monument.

Beautiful house close to highway with everything you need

This house is very nice, has everything one would need and is in a good location. We really appreciated the kids games and the fact that the towels are not white! We’ve stayed at previous VRBO’s where we were expected to not have any stains on the towel or we would be charged and I had to wash towels multiple times after soaking with vinegar and detergent. My main complaint is, like a lot of VRBO’s, there’s a long list of things we have to do on checkout which is a HUGE pain with 4 kids and makes the trip feel less like a vacation! Why do they charge cleaning fees if you already did all the cleaning other than laundry, wiping counters and floors??!

Fantastic Stay for USAFA Reunion!

Booked & stayed as part of USAFA reunion weekend. Perfect for our family and friends! Kitchen well-appointed with everything we needed and just right size for gathering. Great floor plan with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs --- perfect for 2 families. Treadmill good when it was rainy one morning, otherwise neighborhood was nice for a run. Game room was a big win for the kids. Can't explain how well the house fit our needs and hope you enjoy too!

Great home

The house is clean and spacious. There were plenty of pots/pans/bowls for cooking multiple meals and a good stock of spices. The back deck has a lovely propane fire table that is just right to take the edge off a slightly cool evening while watching a stunning sunset over the mountains. We had beautiful magpies and deer visiting the retention area behind the house in the morning. We will use it again if it is available when we come to the Springs.

Great Colorado Springs Vacation Home!

The house was very comfortable for our family. It was well equipped. We did not do any cooking, but the kitchen has just about everything a cook could need! It was nice that they had toiletries and hair dryers. The kids enjoyed lounging in the basement. The house was conveniently located and a very quick drive to the Air Force Academy. Communication was excellent. We had a great stay!

The home was nice, but a couple of things took away from the overall experience. The kitchen sure could have been stocked a little better. The home was surface clean, but could have used a little deeper cleaning. Also, would have loved knowing that some major road work was being completed nearby which made getting to the home more difficult and time consuming.

Colorado Adventure

Beautiful property! The layout and amenities of this property are perfect for a large group of all ages. This home has everything that a group could ask for and is at a level of any resort property that we have stayed at. The previous reviews written are all accurate and there are a few items that management should look into addressing. We loved our evenings sitting on the deck taking in the views after days of activities that were within a short drive. If we have the opportunity to visit the region again, we will definitely stay here again and highly recommend that you consider this property for your next visit to the area. We loved our stay here! Thanks to those that manage this property.

Monument Stay

Great property, very clean. Nicely stocked with amenities: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel provided, stocked soap dispensers at every sink, starter amounts of dish washer soap and laundry detergent. Large TVs for a movie night, plenty of space for relaxing. Only issue was laundry dryer was broken when we stayed. Apparently it was a known issue w/ rental company and a part was on order, but we wish the rental company had disclosed that prior to our trip. We packed light and had an unpleasant surprise when we threw all of our clothes other than the PJs we were wearing into the washing machine one night, only to discover the dryer didn’t work and the laundromat in town had already closed at 8pm! Would verify if dryer fixed yet w/ rental company before booking if having a washer/dryer in house is important for your trip. But otherwise the house was lovely, the fire pit was a big hit, and the neighborhood felt safe. Good stay.

Great Property

The house has everything you need. The description is conservative. Everything was there as described and then some. No complaints at all. Very clean/comfortable beds/nice bathrooms and showers/kitchen had everything you need to cook a good meal. We were in town for the wedding of our son. 4 adults in total but could have fit plenty more people. The property should be a model for the industry. Thank you for letting us stay.

The property was perfect for our team to get together. We are geographically dispersed, and housing here instead of a hotel allowed us to cook, eat, and play together, not to mention knocking out our required work assignments.

Perfect for our family

This house was very clean and is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The beds, pillows, blankets and couches are all very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more) to cook our Thanksgiving meal. We enjoyed playing darts and foosball. Our favorite space was the deck with the great view, nice outdoor chairs and bonus of a gas fire pit and patio heater. Prior to our arrival we contacted the property managers with a couple questions, they were responsive and helpful. We highly recommend staying at this property and will book it again if we are in the area.

Awesome place!

We enjoyed our stay at the Mountain View Manor. The home was spacious, clean and well furnished. We had everything we could possibly need available to us. The views from the home were stunning. We enjoyed grilling outdoors or sitting outside with a nice cup of coffee admiring the mountains. The home is located in a great neighborhood and it's very safe. The location was convenient to shopping. It's also convenient to all activities in and around Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. We had six adults and three boys. Plenty of space for all. Our family highly recommends this rental. We cooked most our meals in the home. We ate out twice and would like to recommend Broken Bones Craft BBQ and Bad Daddy's Burger Bar, which had excellent food and service. You won't regret booking this home.

Our first time using VRBO and it was wonderful! The property managers were extremely gracious and answered all of our questions. The house was the perfect size, extremely clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The best part was the outdoor deck overlooking the mountains. Great for adults and kids. Our stay in Monument

The home was as advertised. The variety of things to do in the home kept all ages happy and occupied. A couple of notes - not complaints. The bannister leading downstairs was not attached to the wall at the top. It had been kind of balanced on the bracket and the bracket was missing a screw. It fell as soon as touched. We ended up leaving it down because we all instinctively gripped it when using the stairs and it just fell. Did not want it to damage the wall on its way down. We did balance it back in place upon leaving. The cleaning crew should have noticed it. We worried about the birds that have built a nest in the umbrella heater on the deck. Disconnected the propane so one of us didn't start the heater and burn the nest. Didn't need the heater anyway. Overall we were very satisfied with both the process and the home.
