This Romantic Cottage is Simply a Cut Above -

Dit huisje is echt voor de veeleisende vakantieganger, zeer romantisch en prachtig ingericht. Terwijl je binnenkomt, zul je een mozaïek zien dat is ingelegd met slippers ... zo uitnodigend. De open plattegrond voelt ruim aan met volume plafonds overal en is en oh zo comfortabel. De woonkamer heeft 2 lederen banken die recht tegenover de gashaard staan ... breng de sfeer! De woonkamer beschikt ook over een grote 55-inch flatscreen-tv met zowel HDTV als Firestick-service. De keuken is goed ingericht met veel aanrechtruimte die niemand zal teleurstellen die van koken houdt. We hebben ook een grote wasmachine en droger weggestopt. De master suite is ruim met een kathedraalplafond en heeft een zeer comfortabel kingsize bed, 2 nachtkastjes, 2 dressoirs, een flatscreen-tv en een grote inloopkast. Het complete bad is om voor te sterven met een bubbelbad en zowel binnen als buiten douches. Dit huis is van hoge kwaliteit gebouwd met verbeterde texturen, waaronder eikenhouten vloeren, trommelmarmer en kalkstenen accenten. In tegenstelling tot veel wijngaardverhuur hebben we centrale lucht en een garage toegevoegd (voor degenen die hun cabriolet of motor meenemen). De garage biedt ook een geweldige overdekte plek voor uw fiets, die we u sterk aanmoedigen mee te nemen, omdat we ons net buiten het fietspad bevinden. Maximaal 2 personen inclusief kinderen, geen huisdieren en niet-rokers alleen als we proberen om deze eigenschap allergeen vrij te houden. Strandstoelen, stranddeken en nog veel meer gemakken zijn inbegrepen. Perfect gelegen op ongeveer 1 mijl van de stad (Edgartown) en 1 mijl naar South Beach, vlak naast het fietspad. Ontspan op de veranda in een paar Adirondack-stoelen of buig uw spieren op ons privébasketbalveld. Positief vlekkeloos. Zodra je dit juweeltje huurt, zal het moeilijk zijn om ergens anders heen te gaan!

Nothing but good things to say

This property exceeded our expectations. The house was exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained, the rooms were large, and the very high ceilings added to the feeling of spaciousness. The bathroom was outstanding - whirlpool tub, walk in shower, double sinks, separate toliet compartment. We had a rainy day and really enjoyed the gas fireplace. The location offered quiet and privacy but was convenient. We are only Sunday bikers, but in a few minutes we could bike on a bike path to Edgartown (charming architecture, cute shops and good restaurants) or to South Beach. The property is managed very professionally, and the communication with the owner was prompt and friendly. Everything was labelled so the house was easy to settle into. We loved Martha's Vineyard, want to go back, and hope we're able to stay in this cottage.

Beautiful cottage

Such a beautiful cottage for a Martha’s Vineyard stay. The home is very clean and nicely designed and furnished; kitchen is well equipped for cooking and grilling; location is great, about 2 miles from the beach and close to Edgartown. The owner kept in touch and we appreciated how responsive she was to any question we had about the island. We visited in late April, and although that is not technically “high season,” it was a lovely time to visit. We had great weather; many shops and restaurants were open; no crowds or traffic and lots of parking to be found; and the beaches were empty for those who like beach walking…I highly recommend the island and this property.

Ambience, privacy, and convenience

This property is perfect for a couple seeking to relax in a quiet, refined property near Edgartown and South Beach. The cottage is clean, well-equipped, and carefully maintained. The kitchen/living room, bedroom, and bathroom are all quite spacious. The large bathroom featured double sinks, an indoor and outdoor shower, a jetted spa tub, and a private water closet. Plus, the owner was extremely communicative, helpful, and clearly interested in ensuring the comfort of her guests. While we did not take advantage of several amenities offered at the property, others may enjoy the pickleball court with basketball hoop, garage, outdoor grills, and outdoor table and chairs. The only aspect of the layout of the cottage that may make it less than ideal for some guests is that it is not the most convenient for entertaining: there is no indoor dining table (one must eat at a kitchen counter while sitting on a stool) and guests must go through the bedroom to use the bathroom. This was the our first visit to MV, but we'll be back. And when we return, we'll have no need to search for other accommodations as this cottage was perfect for us.

Beautiful cottage with everything you could ask for!

Karen’s cottage was not only meticulous, but beautifully equipped with anything and everything you could possibly ask for! My husband and I celebrated our 40th anniversary in the Vineyard, and the cottage made it extra special! Its location was minutes away from the beach, shopping and the quaint harbor area, and getting around was a breeze. Every detail was thought out, and Karen was a pleasure to deal with! I wish we were still there! Highly recommend this beautiful cottage!

Our 1st VRBO Stay, and Def Not the Last!

This guest house is a beautiful home right off of a secluded dirt road. The property is extremely comfortable, and it felt like home away from home. Karen was a great host that was very thorough with ensuring all went well. The pickleball court and basketball goal were huge advantages! Every room is fully stocked with anything you need. Will def return in the future!!

The perfect getaway

The property is amazing and its the perfect house for a romantic couples getaway. The house is 1 mile from Edgartown and about the same distance to south beach. The house is located where at most, a 35 min drive to the other side of the island. Theres plenty to see and do on marthas vineyard. Karen the owner kept in contact with us throughout the weekend asking if we needed anything. We will definetly be back!

Wonderful little cottage for two

While the weather could have been better for our early October week on the island, the cottage was perfect for us as a home base to explore the island as well as settle down for the night. Gas fireplace is wonderful for a chilly evening and everything is set-up to relax and enjoy your time there. We cooked in a few nights and everything we needed we had. Cottage was in perfect working order and ultra clean and area was very quiet and conveniently located. Highly recommend!

Fully stocked guest cottage with outdoor shower and indoor shower and whirlpool. Halfway between South Beach and Edgartown center. Great location! You are responsible for laundry if you use the owner’s linens.

Great Guest House in Katama area

Had a wonderful time on Martha’s Vineyard. This guest house was great, clean, well-equipped and the host, Karen, was responsive and I enjoyed my stay while on the island. It is a great rental for one or two guests maximum in the Katama area near South Beach, close to Edgartown and Morning Glory Far. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of renting this guest house. I will definitely rent it again.

Wonderful getaway

What a wonderful cottage! Communication was fast and easy from booking through checkout. The high ceilings in every room ensured a spacious and yet cozy feel. It was well appointed, with everything we needed for our stay. We loved reading in front of the fireplace. The soaking tub with jets was wonderful at the end of the day. We would return in a heartbeat!

Cottage was very cozy and clean - and most importantly had a well stocked kitchen to allow for meal preparation. Grounds are very well kept and the location is perfect to get to both South Beach and the center of Edgartown. Karen was great in allowing us to check-in early on arrival day and the end-to-end process was seamless!

Karen's guest cottage was the perfect respite for my husband and I for a week in early October. The cottage was super clean, comfortable and a great location; quick and easy into the towns, beaches and up-island. Perfect in Every Way

We found this property after learning that the property we had been renting for 2 weeks over the past several years would not be available for our late-September visit. What a find! Perfect for 2 people, the spacious, beautifully furnished rooms and luxurious bathroom rivaled some of the luxury hotels we’ve stayed at in major cities. Add the bonus of outdoor shower, central A/C, location to beautiful beaches and a property manager/owner who is readily available and responsive to questions, and it’s clear that we didn’t want to leave at the end of our week. Luckily, we have already booked a 2-week stay for next summer, so it was easier to leave knowing we’ll be back! Thanks Karen!

Perfect Vineyard Couples Retreat

My wife and I booked this home in Katama for a celebration of her retirement. The house sits in the rear of a very large lot on which the owner’s larger family size house sits. The property boasts a beautiful lawn and a blacktop out back with a small basketball court. The house also has a garage which was helpful both for storing bikes during our stay and loading up the car when we left. The home itself is gorgeous. There is a large sunny bedroom with a king size bed and an adjoining master bath with a shower, jacuzzi tub and separate water closet. The walk-in closet is large as well. Linens (sheets and towels) are provided. The main living area has two very comfortable love seats (despite being love seats we could each lie down while watching TV). The TV has both cable and services like Netflix and Amazon. The living area adjoins the kitchen which has a four stools and a counter top eating area. There’s also a new electric range, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with ice maker. Everything was spotless when we arrived. Karen, the owner, was incredibly helpful both prior to and during our stay, providing “local knowledge” about some services we needed when we arrived on the Vineyard. The location was also perfect - just close enough to Edgartown downtown and to the beach. Bottom line, if you are a romantic couple (younger or older), this place was perfect - clean, well equipped, cared for, spacious, sunny, well-located and well appointed. We are looking forward to returning.

Beautiful cottage in the heart of Martha's Vineyard!!

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved this cottage. It is a beautiful property located on a quiet road. You have quick access to Main ST in Edgartown, but without all the traffic nearby. The owner, Karen, communicated very well with us to make sure we had a fun and memorable stay. The property was very clean and well organized. Central air and the attached garage were bonuses! I will definitely return during my next stay on the Vineyard! Thank you Karen!!
