Prachtig appartement dat er net zo uitziet als op de foto’s! Alle moderne voorzieningen zijn er, de centrale verwarming doet het prima behalve op de badkamer wat jammer is maar zo te verhelpen. Rustige ligging en zeker niet duur boor wat je krijgt. Op loopafstand van het (oude€ centrum. Een aanrader!

Comfortable hotel nearby sight seeings
Really nice hotel, very comfortable. We had an apartment on the second floor with 2 separate bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Everything in the apartment is new and clean, so we were very satisfied. There is however no reception. If you have a question, you have to call Destiny Scotland. We liked to use the luggage storage on our first and last day and they arranged it quickly. You get a digit code to get in to the hotel. Further the hotel is in a street with a lot of traffic. Haymarket station is nearby and there are a lot of bus stops in the surrounding. But you can also walk within 10 minutes to Princes street and 15 minutes to the old town with the castle and shopping streets. Just in front of the hotel there is a little restaurant where you can drink coffee or have a lunch.

The best stay of my 3 country vacation
A wonderful stay at an apartment that quickly felt like home. Everything was immaculately clean, the linens fresh, and the bed very comfortable. I'll take this over a hotel room any day of the week. Also - the little things like a kettle and a Nespresso were a welcoming touch.

Everything you need , clean and well laid out , the only issue I had was the hardness of the mattress, its a personal thing but I found it much too hard, a topper would have made a big difference- in every other way its a perfect apartment

Lovely stay
Location was close to the main attractions, many bus stop within walking distance. Comfortable and spacious place. Kitchen was equipped to prepare simple meals, would have been better if they provided some cooking oil, salt, pepper. Bathroom is in very good condition. No lift and we were on the highest floor, had to carry the luggage up the stairs. Came with washer dryer, which was useful for a long stay. But they only provided 2 laundry capsule.

Enjoyed a 2-night stay in September 2023. Flat was very spacious for a couple (the largest we stayed at of 5 different Ireland and Scotland rentals on our holiday) and a great blend of preserved Victorian elegance and modern conveniences. Walkable for two recent retirees to Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile and Waverly train station. We used a cab to reach the flat from the airport but tram would have also worked. Treat yourself to Scottish food and brews at Nicholson’s Freehouse on the same block for great pub and sports atmosphere.

Property overall is decent. The property is very spacious inside and well equipped. Everything is automated but no parking and tough to find some if you drive and also no elevators which made it tough for us being on 3rd floor with 2 kids.

Confortevole e moderno appartamento in zona centrale di Edimburgo, a soli 15 minuti a piedi dal castello. L’appartamento era arredato moderno comprensivo di lavatrice, lavastoviglie, phon per capelli (top!! Potente come quello di casa) e ferro asse da stiro. Nel bagno spazioso c’erano già shampoo e doccia schiuma molto profumati. Appartamento completo in generale, peccato gli spifferi dalle finestre, soprattutto quello del bagno e la mancanza in cucina di elementi base (es. sale, olio, pellicola etc). La struttura è facile da raggiungere e non è presente l’ascensore. L’appartamento inoltre aveva un impianto di riscaldamento super!

Not quite what we expected
Overall, our stay was pleasant. There was no hotel staff at all as the place felt more like a hostel than a hotel. The room itself was clean and had good amenities, however, the sheets on the bed were so itchy that we slept on top of the comforter and use an extra blanket, because there was no sleeping on those sheets. We almost considered buying some sheets while shopping in Edinburgh. I would not necessarily stay here again.

The building as a whole and the apartment was clean and well looked after. The apartment was extremely comfortable and in a great location for exploring the city.

The best place to stay in Edinburgh
I was amazed at the beauty of the apartment! From the soaring ceilings, to the natural hardwood floors, it was very tastefully done. If I had scheduled my trip differently, I would have stayed there the entire time! Absolutely gorgeous! Also, it is just a block or so away from the bus/tram station. Hands down the nicest place I stayed in Edinburgh.

Great place. Stunning apartment with all the kit you could ever need for a longer stay. The kitchen was fully equipped. Location wise, it’s a 2 minute walk from Haymarket station so could not be better placed to access everything Edinburgh has to offer. I’ll definitely be booking here again

I loved the location of this property. It was close to all the shopping/eating places on Princes Street and Royal Mile (maybe a 10-15 minute walk). The bed was comfy and quiet. Cons: -There is no elevator/lift. If you have health/joint issues, it makes lugging your luggage up/down stairs difficult. -There aren't any plug-ins in the bathroom, so I had to do my makeup/hair in the bedroom (which isn't terrible, but the lighting just wasn't as good as the bathroom)

I'll start off with- there is NO elevator/lift. If you have health/joint issues, this can be an issue when having to carry your luggage up/down the stairs. Overall, I liked this place. The location was good, plenty of places to shop from and to eat. It wasn't too far from the busy Princes Street or the Royal Mile (all within walking distance). The rooms were clean, the beds comfy and quiet. The big issue for me was that there weren't any mirrors in the bedrooms so it made doing my hair and makeup difficult (there aren't plug-ins in the bathroom). I had to drag a chair from the dining area to the hallway mirror (the lighting was poor though) to get ready each morning.

Property decor is beautiful, and it makes a really good base for sightseeing Edinburgh. Trams/Buses stop almost outside the door, Princes Street is 5 minutes away and the castle is only a 20 minute walk.
