The room was ridiculously expensive durning the eclipse and they didn’t have much to offer to justify the expense. I expected an increase but not double.

This was an ideal property for my family. The suite comfortably slept my family of 5. We were in town for a family gathering and it was very close to that location.

We were just in Erie for a night to see a friend perform at the nearby Kellar’s Magic & Comedy Club. The hotel was very conveniently close, actually walkable when the weather is warmer. Very well-maintained, clean and comfortable. Place could use a little renovation of the outside walkways that are showing a lot of wear, but otherwise very nice and accommodating.

I have never stayed at a place that insisted I not have guests over. The receptionist was not nice about it either.
When I took my shower before checking out, the sink would not drain. That was a disgusting way to start the day. Not acceptable for a motel that is $129 .

Good afternoon James, We are very dismayed to read of your negative experience here with us. Please know that this was not the outcome we wish for our guests, and as you can see from our majority of reviews - usually our staff get great feedback. We will be using this as a coaching opportunity for our team, as it was a very new employee that checked you in and perhaps did not convey things as we intended. You can absolutely have guests to your room, you just cannot have guests that are not registered at the front desk stay in your room overnight, or for several hours, simply for our fire code regulations so that we have correct information on file for all of our guests. Regarding the sink, I am so sorry that this simple maintenance fix seemingly ruined your entire morning, and as we do have maintenance on-site every day, we wish you would have let us know so that we could have quickly corrected this issue. We have had out maintenance team look into this issue and correct it immediately upon receiving your review. We truly hope that you will give us another chance to provide a more pleasant and satisfying stay on your next visit to Erie.

Pros: Staff friendly. Clean rooms. Spacious. Some kitchenette conveniences.
Cons: Plumbing backgrounds. No privacy connecting two rooms in suite. No complimentary breakfast or anything offered room side. Simplistic room set-up (dining space awkward with kitchenette). Beds were hard as a rock.
