We are so sorry to hear about your experience and very much wished you would have let us know when we checked in with your stay rather than after your departure - we would have been able to send someone right away! Although you have posted anonymously, we have doubled checked and have not received an email mentioning this issues so we could respond. Thank you very much for bringing these to our attention, we will have maintenance address the lightbulbs and stove right away. Our laundry is always fresh, and we make sure to use unscented detergent for our guests who are sensitive to fragrances. We will also address what you have mentioned to our housekeeping staff, as they take pride in their work and we strive to have every guest experience be a 5/5. We hope you had a very safe trip home. Hi Crystal, we are very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy staying on our private wilderness preserve. We strive to make sure each of our guests have a wonderful experience. Since you only let us know after you left, we regret that we did not have the chance to correct any concern you had by sending one of our housekeeping team to the cabin right away. Our cabins are 12 miles up into the mountains, and although we try our best to get every spider web prior to your arrival it is not always possible as we are in their environment. We sanitize and treat the hot tubs regularly, and are always available to check on it if there is any concern. We do not allow smoking in any of our cabins, however as there is a wood burning fireplace sometimes there can be a smoky smell. We would love to host you in our Bed and Breakfast next time, which is not as deep into the mountains and may be more to your liking.

Hi Chris, We apologize about your experience finding the cabin. We do suggest arriving during daylight hours if at all possible, to avoid navigating the mountain roads for the first time in the dark. We are a part of the International Dark Sky Association as part of our efforts to keep our wilderness preserve wild for nature lovers, so the cabins have only one light outside. As soon as you contacted us about being uncomfortable about the driveway, we offered you an alternate accommodation, so unfortunately we are not able to offer a refund on your stay. We are happy to add a free night to a future visit. This is not a pet friendly cabin, so next time please make sure that you notify us about bringing your pet so that we can make sure you are in a pet friendly accommodation. I really appreciate you letting us know about the blinds needing attention. I hope we get the chance to host you in the mountains again so you can experience our nature preserve during daylight hours as well.
