Xanadu is het dichtst bij de oceaan zonder een cruisevakantie te nemen. Als u op locatie aankomt en over de klif rijdt, wordt u geconfronteerd met een panoramisch uitzicht op water. Deze exclusieve custom (ICF) gebouwde woning is gloednieuw met luxe afspraken zowel in als uit. Geweldig voor degenen die willen ontspannen op de New Brunswick leisteen leisteen patio kijken naar ik vissers direct vooraan vooraan in de ochtend, walvissen, zeehonden en adelaars overdag of Hawaiiaanse zoals zonsondergangen, vallende sterren en satellieten tijdens de nacht. Voor de veeleisende chef-kok heeft de keuken het allemaal. Als zwemmen jouw ding is, is het water op het strand het 'Warmste noorden van de Carolina's' genoemd.

Het gebied is geweldig voor de actieve persoon die geïnteresseerd is in watersport, wandelen op Cape George (vuurtorensite die Robert Munsch boek met dezelfde naam inspireerde) of fietsen rond 'The miniatuur Cabot Trail' van de Kaap.

De stad Antigonish, site van Highland Games en St. FX University, ligt op slechts 15 minuten afstand. Hier hebt u toegang tot alle voorzieningen die u nodig heeft. De stad heeft ook een 18-holes golfbaan. Voor de serieuze golfliefhebber ligt de golfbaan Cabot Links van wereldklasse op 2 uur rijden met de auto.

We had a wonderful stay here. Paul and Heidi were very kind and accommodating. A beautiful property right up against the Northumberland Strait, which we enjoyed kayaking in. The cottage was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views.

Paul and Heidi are fantastic hosts. We were greeted by 2 friendly dogs and Paul offered us delicious Lobster bisque and freshly cooked lobsters upon revival. The kitchen is well equipped with everything thing you need. The view is fantastic. This is the perfect place to relax and recharge your mind and body. If you like relaxing vacations with great views and sunsets I cannot recommend Paul’s place enough.

This cottage was fantastic, very clean, well furnished and decorated with a relaxing feel. Right on the ocean for great views, sounds and sunsets. Paul and Heidi were excellent hosts and so were Milo and Enzo the wonderful furry (dogs) attendants making sure we had everything needed. We would recommend this cottage to anyone and would certainly stay again when in the area.

We had a wonderful experience. Communication was clear and concise. The home itself was a beautiful custom built beach house; a new build encompaassing custom vintage features. The proporety is stunning, including a beach steps from the front door with very warm waters. We felt very fortunate to have stayed here and hope to avain soon. You will not be disappointed.

WOW!!!!! The house is absolutely gorgeous and the host, Paul, so genuine and welcoming. It was a cold day when we arrived and he had a fire in the fireplace, nice music playing, candles in the windows, and string lights on outside. Felt like home as soon as we walked in. The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and well appointed. Being dog lovers (especially Goldens in my case), it was an extra treat to be greeted by Enzo and Milo and watch some of their antics. Being cold and rainy some of the time, we really enjoyed the fireplace with coffee to start the day and wine after our hiking adventures. Paul was especially gracious to order lobsters for us, steam them, bring them over, and “chop” them so we could pick the sweet meat out. He is truly a gem of a host and we would definitely stay there again. Our only regret is that we didn’t meet his wife Cathie because we expect she is as special as he is.

First, just a beautiful place inside and out. As my wife and I like to cook, we can say this was the best equipped kitchen we've cooked in, and you can watch the sea as you do it. We had a great time relaxing and reading, watching the lobster boats at work.

Pictures simply do not do this place justice. It is truly a piece of heaven here on Earth. Paul and Heidi were gracious hosts, the house is beautiful, the view is even better, and we absolutely loved Enzo and Bella, their dogs, visiting often! The house is well stocked with what you need to cook amazing meals and there are blankets and comfy beds, and towels galore. We travel a lot and have 2 kids in wheelchairs, and this was the most comfortable we have ever been in a home. Such a great time! We hope to return in the future to this paradise and appreciate the hosts for their kindness!

My husband and I spent an absolutely beautiful long fall weekend at Zanadu cottage. The ocean views are spectacular, the cottage immaculate both inside and out. Comfy and cozy. We were greeted first by Bella and Enzo (the family pets) and then Paul and Heidi. A very warm welcome. We spent 3 nights at this amazing property. The cottage is beautiful. We enjoyed cooking in the open kitchen and sitting by the cozy fire. When the weather was nice we enjoyed explore the beach. The views and sunsets we incredible. We can't wait to go back.
