Sfeervol zeer klantgericht hotel
Zeer sfeervol ingericht hotel, waarbij het vriendelijke personeel zijn uiterste best doet om het je naar de zin te maken. Prachtig zwembad, goed restaurant, mooie kamers. We hadden de junior suite, die is zeer ruim en heeft mooi uitzicht. Parkeren is makkelijk. Mooie uitvalsbasis voor tochten in de omgeving. Giarre en Riposto zelf hebben niet veel te bieden, maar verder is er veel te zien.

Mooi maar gehorig
Mooi hotel, mooie tuin en bijzonder vriendelijke medewerkers. Het hotel is echter zeer gehorig en het zwembad is van een onbestemde kleur waardoor je geen diepte kan schatten...

A hotel with a lot of potential but just failed to deliver on a number of levels: - service was disappointing, on check in advised the restaurant was not avaialble for guests as there was a private party with no apology - areas around the pool had not been cleared of previous guests drinks and snacks Hotel secreted on the edge of a housing estate, with sea view from balcong more like a view of hundreds of roof tops.

The property itself was not bad the area around the property was a garbage dump. The staff was very accommodating. The rooms were clean the shower was about the size of a phone booth, and the beds were like sleeping on a stone tablet. The air conditioner worked great. But they could definitely be some improvements.

Plus: sehr schöne Anlage, gepflegt, sauber, sowohl Zimmer als auch Pool. Gutes Restaurant. Extrem nettes Personal. Sehr schöner Poolbereich. Sehr gute Klimaanlage. Minus: - Umgebung sehr schmutzig; dafür kann das Hotel aber nicht - Zimmer ohne Schrank und Haken, also die ganze Zeit aus dem Koffer leben - sehr abgelegen, öffentlicher Transport quasi inexistent oder fast 3km entfernt; also ohne Mietwagen fast unmöglich - 2 Wochen die gleiche Restaurant- und Poolmusik - ein wöchentlicher Ruhetag des Restaurants, also in der Umgebung auswärts essen, was ohne Auto nicht einfach ist - relativ kleine Speisekarte; bei einem längeren Aufenthalt also mehrere Wiederholungen - Ortschaft Giarre, naja....

One can expect a high quality hotel and comfortable rooms when paying 250 euros/night. However, this hotel looks like in decay - a place that has not received much attention lately. Standard rooms had scratches all over the walls and furniture. Staff was sweet, but clearly working overtime. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. The pool is the only positive side. Astonishing view to Mt. Etna.

Dear Guest, Thank you for the time spent for your review. About the negative points raised on rooms and breakfast quality we feel to know these are not been up to your expectations. Anyway we would like to point out that: - for the breakfast we offer, aside the served buffet, à la carte menu for eggs included in the price as good as home made cookies, pies, several kind of cheese, 4 kind of bread, salami, fresh fruit, dry fruit, fruit juice … - for the rooms: we do not have "old" rooms (maximum six years old) and every year we organize a manteinance to arrange all the details useful for a perfect stay. Of course almost at the end of the season some scratches due to the recent use are to be considered normal, even because these are details that are going to be fixed soon, for the new season. Gem boutique hotel nestled on the flank of Mt Etna
Our stay at Ramo d'Aria was excellent from beginning to end. It is a small boutique hotel in a beautiful converted mansion. The pool area is large and super relaxing. The restaurant beautiful and everything is super well maintained. Christian from the front desk organized for us a private tour of the Etna and was super helpful in many occasions. We dined there and even though my children are picky eaters, we cleaned every single plate! We would return without a doubt.

All areas clean and well maintained. Incredible view of Mt. Etna while floating in the pool. Staff helpful without being intrusive, and patient with our extremely limited Italian. Renovated stone buildings give very relaxed and timeless ambience. Staff had great suggestions for tip notch dining, whether at Ramo or off-site. Also offered to connect us with a small group tour up Mt. Etna, which was first-rate.

For the first few days of our trip to Sicily we were looking for a hotel of high standard were we could relax by the pool and enjoy the food and wine of the area. This place met all of our expectations, beautifully restored hotel with a modern contemporary style and well kept rooms and pool area. Staff was excellent, in particular the waiter working afternoon and evenings in pool area and restaurant - extremely friendly yet professional possessing great knowledge of wine and food. Perfect stay for anyone looking for comfort. Etna is a short drive away along with several nice restaurants and wine tasting spots.

The hotel is beautifully designed and very modern. Bruno at reception gave us valuable recommendations in the area and beyond and was extremely helpful making us feel very welcome throughout our stay . Altogether a lovely experience ... the only issue we had was the breakfast which was lacking in variety and quantity . Highly recommend

Un bel posto con la pecca di essere all'interno del centro abitato. Pregi: la piscina ed il panorama dell'etna. Si mangia bene, anche se secondo me c'è uno scarso rapporto qualità/prezzo. Pulito e gradevole, si poteva fare qualcosa in più nei bagni delle camere soprattutto nello spazio box doccia.

Lovely boutique hotel off the beaten track.
My husband said "how did you find this?". Ramo d'Aria is a real gem, beautifully quiet with a stunning pool area and clean bright rooms. The staff are fantastic and the meals are superb. You could quite easily not leave the premises - but if you do, you need a car or an organised trip (which the hotel will happily organise for you). We only had two nights, but will go out of our way to come back. My only negatives - the beds are a little hard for my taste (but that is Italy). And being a Brit, I crave tea and coffee making facilities.

Séjour magnifique
Très joli hotel d'une dizaine de chambres. Le personnel est souriant et à l'écoute. Ils parlent parfaitement français & anglais si besoin. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. La piscine est MAGNIFIQUE ! avec une très belle vue sur l'Etna.

Relaxing getaway in Sicily
We stayed in Sicily for 8 nights. Our first time in the country, hoping to recharge our batteries and soak up some sun both of which we achieved. We hired a car and are pleased we did. There's not a lot in the immediate vicinity of Ramo D'Aria and whilst the food at the hotel was very nice, it's lunch and dinner menus are limited. We had some good recommendations of places to visit and dine at from the staff all of which were worth the effort. If you are considering visiting and can put up with a bit of work going on in the locality around you, you like to explore wider than your immediate surroundings and you want to spend a few days lazing by the pool, you can't really go wrong with this hotel. One word of advice, the Sicilians like their celebrations and that includes loud firework explosions and fireworks that hiss and whizz. The first time this happened on afternoon, almost everyone around the pool stopped talking and you could feel the sense of "what's going on?" My parasympathetic nervous system went into overdrive for about 90 seconds with my fight or flight instinct kicking in immediately. Not surprising given the current climate of fear we live in, so check with reception if there are any fireworks likely. The lovely Julia did come and assure us it wasn't "war" but perhaps the hotel can put this on their website too as a bit of "local knowledge".

Average hotel, location is not ideal.
This hotel looks beautiful from the outside and rooms are nice but it doesn't not live up to what it should. There are small things that add up and let it down. Staff are nice, breakfast is average, pool area is lovely. If you are staying here you have to drive everywhere, for dinner, shops etc.

Un magnifique boutique Hotel
La réhabilitation de cette ancienne bâtisse est très réussie et la décoration intérieure est un régal pour les yeux avec la piscine et le jardin de citronniers sublimes. Dommage que la vue sur l Etna soit aussi sur les grues et les immeubles en construction . La chambre était confortable et grande mais nous aurions aimé une douche plus grande en accord avec la chambre . Le diner est relativement cher pour la petite quantité que nous avions dans les assiettes à l'inverse des autres restaurants siciliens. Nous avons regrette que le petit déjeuner sans intérêt ne soit pas servi en terrasse.

Hotel på landet
Dejligt hotel med fed udsigt til etna. Meget stille og roligt hvor der ikk er andet af lave ind af ligge ved poolen.. Mangler liv men 5 km væk ligger en hyggelig havneby riposto. Hotellet virkede ikke færdigt endnu men har potentiale.. Alt i alt nogle gode dage :0)
