We had our expectations exceeded beyond our imaginations at the Summer House on Romar Beach!!!

It was a great place to stay and relax with family - would do it again in a heartbeat! Great access to beach and pools.
Only negative was that there was construction going on in condo next door for 2 of the days so was very noisy early in the day.

Geplaatst op 19 mrt. 2016Very dated decor, didn't feel very clean, stained rug, hard as rock pillows, not enough blankets, room overlooked parking lot and the loud garbage truck picked up trash right outside the balcony early in the morning.

Voordelen: The view was breath taking. We were on the 15th floor. The condo was very spacious clean and comfortable.
Nadelen: The only thing I thought was the pans were old with teflon flaking off. Could use some nicer utensils as well but over all this is a very nice place.
Locatie: the location is good, there is zip line, parasailing and an arcade with go carts and of course gift shops. The local ones had the best gifts & clothes
This was a last minute trip before school started. We had a wonderful time and being on the 15th floor allowed me to run up and down the stairs instead of taking the elevator for exercise.

Good view of beach
Geplaatst op 5 mei 2015Hotel was supposedly dog friendly but was not. It should not advertise on a dog friendly site. Also it was supposed to have a king bed, but did not.

Did not get what I booked

Voordelen: It was secure
Locatie: Lots of places to eat and shop very nearby
I booked a specific unit online through Expedia. Upon arrival, was told my booking was for another unit even though I had documentation for the unit I booked. No offer was made to correct the mistake. I booked the unit based upon it's upgraded décor. The unit I "got" had not been upgraded and while adequate, was disappointing to me. When I book for a relaxing vacation, I book something equal to or better than my own home; the unit I got was far from that and for the money I spent, I was very disappointed.
The view was great.

Regarding your recent stay at Summer House on Romar Beach in condo 101A, we have followed up with Expedia concerning your request to stay in a particular condo that was not 101A. Unfortunately we have been told that they do not book by individual condo but on the complex level as a whole based on size. They do their best to match bedding and view preferences, but there is no guarantee. We regret that this wasn't made clear to you at the time of booking and are really glad that at least you enjoyed the beautiful view! We hope you will return to Summer House in the future.
