As soon as I walked into the room it felt unsafe with neighbors asking for money and how long my stay was.

The room smelled like smoke, there was blood on the toilet seat, there was someone passed out in the grass, and they took a copy of my driver’s license and it just felt inappropriate to do so. If you all have that many issues you have to take drastic security measures, then you need to figure it out.

The place was the least expensive in the area for a one-night stay; this is why it was selected. The reception desk was manned by two completely disinterested personnel (one upon arrival and one upon departure). While we were there, the police were in the parking lot arresting two intoxicated persons; we ate at the next-door Dennys and while there we observed the police arresting another individual at the gas station on the other side of Dennys. There are a few homeless encampments in the patch of woods in between the hotel and Dennys. Spend an extra $10-20 and stay somewhere else - this place is scary.

This was a last minute booking, and I respect that people live here full time. However, as a motel it was in pretty bad shape, a very dirty room (worst I had ever seen), extremely long and unorganized check-in, and a generally unsafe feel. I would not recommend staying here if there are other options.

I've stayed in Red Roof hotels before so I'm well aware that they aren't updated or comparable to a room at the Hilton, but this location was disgusting. There was a fruit fly type infestation in the bathroom. As soon as I turned the water on they came flying out of the faucet head and drain. It was so gross that I packed my bags first thing in the morning and skipped the shower. People were partying until 5am. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything. No sleep. No shower. No shampoo. No coffee maker. Some lady had her Rotweiler off leash walking through the parking lot. I will never stay at a Red Roof again.
