Eengezinswoning, spectaculair uitzicht op de bergen, skiën tot aan de deur

Ontspan in de privacy van een eengezinswoning tijdens uw verblijf in Sugarloaf, in het rustige maar handige West Mountain-gebied. Geniet van een spectaculair uitzicht op het hele Bigelow-gebergte vanuit bijna elke kamer van dit huis van drie verdiepingen, 2000 vierkante voet.

Gelegen op ongeveer 150 meter van de West Mountain Trail, met normale sneeuwcondities, kunt u tot aan de deur skiën op een kort kruis gesneden pad, of de shuttlebus (alleen het skiseizoenseizoen) rechtstreeks naar de basislodge nemen. Bel 's avonds de shuttle voor gratis service naar restaurants en clubs. Sneeuwschoenen of nordic ski voor de deur of toegang tot het 105 km geprepareerde parcoursysteem van het Outdoor Center. Het golfclubhuis ligt op ongeveer 10 minuten lopen.

De begane grond is comfortabel en ruim, bijna volledig open, waardoor u grote blootstelling aan de winterzon hebt. De woonkamer heeft comfortabele banken en een grote houtkachel die kan worden geopend om het vuur als een open haard te bekijken. Ook op de begane grond zijn de eetkamer, volledig uitgeruste keuken, entree en half bad.


Het huis: Betreed het huis vanaf de afgeschermde veranda en loop het binnenkomstgebied in. De open concept begane grond heeft de woonkamer, eetkamer, keuken en half bad.

Het lagere niveau heeft een slaapkamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden en een uitschuifbed, een badkamer, een familiekamer met dubbele futon en een wasruimte.

Het bovenste niveau heeft twee slaapkamers (elk met een queensize bed) en een badkamer.


West Mountain-stoeltjeslift & pendelbus: de West Mountain-stoel loopt in het weekend en op schoolvakantieweken, van 08:00 tot 15:00 uur. U kunt naar de deur skiën, of de West Mountain Chair nu loopt of niet.
Ook rijdt er een gratis pendelbus langs het huis op een schema (elke 20-30 minuten) van 08.00 uur tot 17.00 uur in het weekend en op vakantie weken om u rechtstreeks naar de basislodge in de ochtend of naar restaurants en winkels op andere tijden te brengen .. Het loopt ook een schema op andere dagen en tijden of is beschikbaar door te bellen naar 237-6853. Laat uw auto geparkeerd op de oprit voor uw hele verblijf!

Beautiful and cozy ski week

Our family and our friends family stayed comfortably here for the week. The home is beautiful and spacious. Kids had their own space in the lower level away from adults. We skied in and out onto the West Mountain Trail. Heads up that it’s a bit of work to get out and into the trail - requiring some skating. For little and boarders this will be a bit challenging. Home has everything needed for a comfy ski getaway. I’m bookmarking to stay here again.

The property was wonderful. Kitchen was open with all that we needed. Beds were comfortable. We loved the wood stove and rockers in front. House was neat and clean. We were blessed with some new snow and so had an excellent time skiing both alpine and cross country. Peter was responsive when there was 10 inches of snow falling. We recommend the place highly.

Amazing home for a ski getaway

Ski vacation stay with friends and this location did not disappoint! Plenty of room with multiple common areas and skiing support to lifts was also good. The house is well stocked and having a wood burning stove was great. The host was very responsive with answers to questions. We will be looking at this location again for our next Sugarloaf trip!

Spring Skiing at Sugarloaf

This is a great ski house. It has breathtaking views and great light. It is beautifully appointed and has an excellent kitchen that is much better equipped than the usual rental. There is also a tuning bench in the utility room. We always bring our tuning gear but often there is not a warm , dry place to wax and sharpen our skis. The owners are clearly serious about skiing and have created a space to maintain gear. This is a ski off location. you can ski from the mountain to the dooryard. On weekdays the best route to skiing is a short shuttle bus ride from the foot of the driveway, leaving every half hour. Maybe next spring lifts will be running every day to get to the resort, this year it was ski on on weekends only. There is a wood stove and a freestanding gas fireplace. It's a big space with different places for small groups to form around fires or puzzles. The wifi works; there are multiple TV's. Warm, no drafts, plenty of hot water. Everything is about right for a ski vacation.

Charming house on the hidden jam of Sugaloaf West Mountain

Two families with teenagers just enjoyed a relaxing ski vacation here. The house is very welcoming and cozy, with open common space we could hangout. Nicely stocked kitchen made us felt like home. The internet connection was pretty good with all of our devices going at the same time. Other set up in the house are also very convenient and homey. It gave us the feeling of a well-loved house with a lot of stories. Peter the owner was very responsive to our questions. The snow plow service was also responsive. The location was not labeled as ski-in-and-out but we were pleasantly surprised it’s really convenient to get to the slope. First, there is shuttle service stop right in front of the house every half and hour to and from the base lodge. Second, we can hike a few minutes to the green trail right under the West Mountain Chair. Coming back there is a stretch of blue trail at the top but it is super fun coming down all the way on the long and wide slope. We all had a great time here.

Great West Mountain Home

We have been Sugarloafer's for 30+ years and have always stayed mid-mountain or off of Wiffletree. This was our first time staying at West Mountain and we were really pleasantly surprised at the location, convenience, and comfort. The house was wonderful and really sets up nicely for a family with adults and children who can be on a different level than the adult. The kids had their space and the adults had their own space. Getting to and from the mountain was easy and the entire home was really well stocked!! we would definitely book again.

We really enjoyed this particular location. It was private, quiet and close to the mountain. Loved the shuttle bus pick up and drop off! House had all of the necessary amenities, and more! Very nice unit

I would recommend this to anyone looking for three bedrooms. It also has a couple of significant sitting areas. Very well lit with natural light. Big Kitchen allows multiple people to cook at the same time.

The space is perfect for a ski vacation. The mud room keeps gear contained, and the living areas are well laid out and comfortable. The pictures do not do it justice! Would def stay there again. Oh, and the ski shuttle literally stops at the end of the driveway.

It's the perfect Sugarloaf ski house. As Peter says you can ski in off the West Mt trail and the shuttle pulls up in front of the house every 30 min to get you to the base. Or on weekends you can ski to the West Mt chair. We've always stayed around the base but we would definitely stay here again.
