excellent and welcoming stay
We had a wonderful stay at B&B Casa Nini. The host Daniele is a friendly and helpful person. It is a Nice and beautyfull clean house with all the comfort you need. Daniele makes a delicious breakfast with local food every morning. You can find all information about the lake and surroundings in the B&B and the host helps you with all the questions you have. He even makes a reservation in a local restaurant for you of you want. For all this we give the B&B a 10!

Top lokatie en vriendelijke eigenaar
Zeer mooie en goed verzorgde lokatie langs het Como meer. Wij hadden de mooie en ruime familiekamer. Prima bedden maar voor lange Nederlanders (1.85 of meer) wel wat aan de korte kant. Hele vriendelijke eigenaar die zijn best deed om het ons naar de zin te maken en zelfs had gedacht aan de verjaardag van onze dochter! Goed ontbijt met lekkere koffie. Onze dochter had haar ring in de badkamer laten liggen en de eigenaar heeft deze naar ons adres in Nederland opgestuurd. Daar was ze superblij mee! Bedankt Daniele!

Eigenaar zeer gastvrij. Stond ons buiten al op te wachten. Nette kamer. Goed ontbijt. Oprit zeer smal, op 100 mtr parkeerplek bij station.

En gull verdt opplevelse
Vi hadde et helt nydelig opphold på Casa Nini denne sommeren. Verten møtte oss ved inngangsporten, booket bord for oss og hjalp oss med togrutene og booking av aktiviteter i området. Utrolig hyggelig frokost laget av hosten, og mange gode samtaler. Vil anbefale alle å ta en natt eller to på Casa Nini dersom de har muligheten - det var en veldig fin opplevelse!

Charming small family run B&B. Daniel was an attentive and very helpful host. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Homemade jam with breakfast. Lierna was a small, quiet village away from all the usual hustle and bustle of Lake Como but an easy train ride to Varenna and ferries to Bellagio. Daniel booked us into a great local lakeside restaurant - Sottovento. Access to parking on-site was tight if you have a larger car so we parked in the station across the lane. Daniel provided parking tickets for this.

Sehr gute Lage (direkt beim Bahnhof). Nette Besitzer, welcher gute Restaurantenmpfehlung abgibt (und gleich reserviert). Bequemes Bett und kleines, aber gutes Frühstück. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

We loved EVERYTHING about this amazing B&B !! From precious Daniel who wons it to our amazingly beautiful room with a view of the lake...to the train near by to take to the next town to take the ferry across to Bellagio...to the delicious breakfast with the best coffe ever Daniel made us each morning !! Truly one of our favorite stays ever !! Thank you, sweet Daniel !!

Danielle was already waiting for our arrival. He was extremely courteous and went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. His house is beautiful and a collector’s paradise. He served lovely breakfast every day. Cream on the cake is his sense of humor. All in all a wonderful experience. Lierna Train station is a stone’s throw away from the facility.

Lovely B&B well located by Lake Como
We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Casa Nini. There are 3 rooms, we were in the middle one which has the sole use of the balcony that runs the length of the building with gorgeous views to Lake Como and the mountains. Casa Nini is conveniently right next to the lovely, small train station but it's not noisy. Lierna is a small village but it can be quite hilly so the location was appreciated. The room was large and with a large bathroom. The rooms and the house were spotless. Daniele was a gracious host with lots of information on local places to eat and the ferry & train schedules. Lierna is quite small village but has all the necessities. He served a lovely breakfast. He likes to keep his guests separate so we didn't get to meet any other guests at breakfast. Lierna is on the ferry and train route so it's easy to get to other towns on Lake Como, and is a lovely place to walk around itself. A wonderful, relaxing stay. It's been a tough year, and this was the break our souls needed.

Mixed good feelings
A bit detailed but hopefully helpful for others - - the property is located strategically if travelling into Lierna by train. If you are driving to this place, you are bound to have your car scratched if you are driving a big car. A two seater small car would probably enter its very narrow and upwards steep and curvy approach road. So advice - don't book if you planning to drive here but no issues if travelling by train - The owner/host of the property watches every movement of yours in his property like a hawk, which is not a very comfortable feeling. He keeps telling guests, don't do this, don't touch this, switch off the lights, don't turn the AC on at low temperature, don't open the door/windows. And he waits for his guests to leave so that they spend as little time as possible in his property. - Breakfast is included as this is a B&B but is a sweet only breakfast with ready-made items like bottled juice, packaged croissant, biscuits etc. Yet again, be prepared to be watched while you take every bite - The property is tastefully decorated and the rooms are on the first floor of the property. This place is not disabled friendly as there are steps to go up and down - the views from the property are amazing - one side looking to the mountains and the other providing great views of the downhill lake Como and Lierna train station - The trains have a regular frequency throughout the day but there are not too many people frequenting this station so its not too loud

Personale abbastanza maleducato. Zero privacy. La colazione non abbiamo potuta farla da sole ma è stato praticamente a fissarci. Zero asciugamani.

Sjarmerende sted ved i Lierna
Svært hyggelig B&B ved Comosjøen. Verten er meget hyggelig, yter meget god service og snakker godt engelsk. Den flotte villaen ligger herlig til koselig hage og kort vei til strand og spisesteder. Svært trang adkomst med bil, men det løste vi med vertens hjelp.

We had a wonderful stay. Daniel the owner was very helpful in everything. It's accessible to the ferry boat and train station. I would love to stay in Casa Nini again. I would rate 10/10.

Inform your guests!
Beautiful house, convenient location, and affordable stay. But one thing made us not want to come back: In our private bathroom, there was a cupboard with towels. We took one towel from there and thought that they were for us to use since we didn’t get any information that we shouldn’t use them. When we got home one afternoon, the host yelled at us for ten minutes saying that we had no right to take that extra towel. We had no idea that we weren’t allowed to take towels from there. So the host should simply inform his guests not to open the cupboards in their room. Getting yelled at on our vacation for taking one towel ruined our stay and therefore we will never come back to Casa Nini.

Accueillis chaleureusement par Daniele et son épouse dans leur charmante maison, avec vue sur le lac de Côme. De très bons conseils pour les visites et les restaurants et un service impeccable (réservation restaurants, ticket parking, horaire des trains et des bateaux). Petit déjeuner charmant avec salades de fruits et confitures maison…
