We SO loved our stay. Our room had a view of the Castello dos Mouros AND the palacio national. Unbelievable!! The host is exceptionally friendly and helped us figure out our train to Obidos. The room was spacious and very clean. I hope to come back one day!!

Estadia muito boa, ficamos apenas uma noite mas correu tudo bem, reservamos 2 quartos e um estava com o Ar Condicionado com defeito, mas não foi um grabde incomodo pois o tempo estava fresco.

Wonderful staff are so helpful and friendly. Perfect location near restaurants. The A/C was a wonderful surprise as they were having a very warm late September. I recommend!

Rooms were nice and bfs were comfy. Breakfast (extra cost of 12 euros pp) was good. Hike up to the moorish castle was great. Air conditioning did not function which wasn’t terrible issue for us but if it had been any hotter . . Overall, recommend.

A magic place to stay in a special part of the world. Ideal stay in historical centre within easy walking distance. Such a beautiful building with very warm welcome by receptionist and staff. Didn't want to leave. Shame about condition of wooden flooring in bathroom - spoilt ambience of this gorgeous building. Fantastic hot water and pressure in shower. A very comfortable stay

Lovely spot, amazin staff, great Sintra location!
This is a wonderful property in a great location in Sintra, and we would absolutely stay here again! We booked 2 suites to have enough room for our family of 4 adults and 2 kids, and found it to be perfect for our stay. Great water pressure and water temperature, and there is a family-friendly restaurant right below which we found perfect for a convenient meal after our arrival. They were especially helpful to our family with all of bags (2 kids under 5), and a special shout out to Maria and the team for helping us to recover our stroller, which we accidentally left behind in the chaos of our departure. We look forward to another visit to Sintra again sometime, and crossing paths with this lovely staff again!

I was due to arrive around 4 pm but arrived around 4:50. The access gate was closed which was meant to be open till five pm. My phone battery was flat and I had no means to contact them about after hours access as they had not provided any information in their previous email. As such I had to stay in a different property. Overall very bad service and I will never book such a property again where there is no means of access and proper communication. I couldn't rate the property because I couldn't get access

The neighbor has a big dog which was barking loudly whenever we were coming back from the hotel (if you don't like dogs/fear them, definitely not a great location for you). Aside of that, the staff was very kind during the entire trip. We were staying 2 days and we lost the hot water for pretty much the entire time (only got it on the morning of the last day). It was something out of control by the hotel, I get that but I was expecting a discount, a meal or something to compensate. Whenever you are sweating a lot by visiting the castle and the palace, the shower was a necessity. They accommodated once by offering another room to get the shower between 2 customers so that's why the staff is great. Last thing is that I found a few bugs in the room, nothing like bed bugs at least but more like one dead bug on the wall and a spider in its spiderweb.

The place is incredibly nice yet the staff is what makes it run. Ms. Dulce and Ms Isabel are incredible hostesses Casa do vinho particularly the room Porto has a serious issue with bathroom smell it should be look at it’s really bad and none stop leaving the door of the room and the window opens and the bathroom door close did not help The location is perfect but again nothing better than the outstanding treatment that I received from Dolce and Isabel Thanks

A great little place in the heart of Sintra! Everything was wonderful, only thing was a bit of confusion about check-in. The entrance they explain for check-in is a little different than where it actually is - once we figured that out we were good to go!

We got an upgraded room and it was fabulous. This hotel is right in the heart of Sintra close to the downtown and one of the attractions (Quinta de regalaria). Entrance is through the side road. No breakfast included though.

It was conveniently located in the heart of Sintra's old quarter. The hardwood floor in the bathroom could cause water damage for the hotel in the future.

Breakfast not available, even if you request it with time ahead and are willing to pay the extra charge. No room service. Water leaks from next room bathroom passed the wall to our room. Not fixed while we stayed. No amenities in the bathroom. Only one towel per person available. Very disappointing.

Good value for money
The room is spacious and is very clean. For travellers with heavy lugguage, be aware, there's no elevator in the facility. Few points that would keep me from going back is, there's no one in the reception, I mean the reception door is locked (at least when I was there) so I couldn't get information about Sintra and the house when I needed. The dog living next door kept barking at night. The wooden floor can be quirky, sound might destract you if you are a sensitive sleeper. Still, overall it is a good value for money.

Great place
Delightful guest house in terrific location central to everything if interest. Dulce was a fabulous host. The only thing that was confounding was the lack of coffee. The reception area does not open till 9 and restaurants in the area don’t open till then either. It was a bit rough, but Sintra is so beautiful we somehow managed.
