Vriendelijk personeel. De kamer wat gedateerd maar alles heel schoon. Aan de rand van het centrum. Restaurants en winkels dichtbij.

Gastvrij hotel ,centrale ligging.
Hotel Grand Hotel Cravat is centraal gelegen in Luxemburg stad. Het hotel heeft een authentieke uitstraling. Kamers zijn zeer ruim en voorzien van alle gemakken. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bij de open haard kan je genieten van een goed glas en de sfeer van weleer. Een echte aanrader voor een cultureel en shop week end .

Wij (man&vrouw) hebben nog een nacht in dit zeer mooie hotel in het centrum van Luxemburg doorgebracht. Het hotel voldeed erg goed voor deze korte tussenstop, (schone, ruime)kamer, (heerlijke) bedden, (ruime)badkamer, (adequate) service en vriendelijkheid van het personeel en de ligging in het centrum van deze mooie stad, maakten ons gelukkig. Heerlijk gegeten in de buurt.

Charming hotel located right near the center of the city. Staff was extremely nice and very helpful. Breakfast was a real treat. All in all, would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

prima hotel voor kort verblijf
Prima hotel zonder veel poespas, voor een standaard gerenoveerde kamer een goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.Nette kamer, mooie badkamer, prima bedden en heerlijke kussens. Ik zat wat hoger en had daardoor uitzicht op omgeving. Enige minpunt was dat de nieuwe flatscreen tv geen signaal had, dit is door twee concierges bekeken maar beiden hebben dit niet kunnen oplossen.Een andere oplossing is niet geboden.

De bedoeling was om dicht in het centrum te logeren waardoor alles bereikbaar zou blijven en dat is prima gelukt. Aangezien we zoveel mogelijk van de stad wilden zien in een tamelijk korte tijd, was dit hotel uiterst geschikt. Iets simpeler maar toch perfect !! We hadden alles wat we nodig hadden.

De ligging van het hotel is goed, met een publieke parking aan de overkant. De service was zeer vriendelijk. De kamer is ruim, maar dateert van een ander tijdperk, en heeft heel dringend een serieuze opfrisbeurt nodig. Vooral in de badkamer merk je dit. Het ontbijtbuffet is ruim voldoende, heel vers, en van heel goede kwaliteit. Jammer genoeg kan je beter vinden voor dit budget.

Lovely hotel, great location, great service
Me and my girlfriend stayed for 3 nights in Grand Hotel Cravat and had a good time. It's located in the center of town, you are in the middle between the casemates and central square. The hotel is older, but nicely maintained. Our room was small and the fact that it didn't have parking, only a very expensive parking nearby was a big dissatisfier. That was all made up by the service though, my girlfriend forgot her glasses and the staff was nice enough to send those back to us. Thanks for the effort!

Charmante luxe in vergane glorie
Grand Hotel Cravat is prachtig gelegen, op loopafstand van het station van Luxemburg stad. Mijn late aankomst in de februarikou in de hotellobby bevestigde mijn eerste indruk van vervlogen tijden waarin luxe en comfort hoog in het vaandel van dit hotel stonden ingeschreven. Het hotel heeft beslist charme en is nog steeds luxueus - ruime kamer en badkamer! - en comfortabel, maar is duidelijk aan renovatie en vernieuwing toe. Het ademt een aangename sfeer uit en heeft een persoonlijk cachet, dankzij deze indruk van "vergane glorie". Prachtige ontbijtzaal en buffet, schitterend gelegen met mooi uitzicht. Aangenaam personeel.

The room smells badly and there was black mold in bathroom. The staff was rude. On the contrary the price is high. The worst hotel I've ever experiencced.

Great stay.
The Grand Hotel Cravat is a lovely hotel in a great location. It feels a bit dated, but that adds to the charm of it. The front desk staff was extremely helpful during the stay: securing a taxi for me at 3:30am and having a to-go bag of breakfast items packed since I had to miss the breakfast buffet. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious. My only complaint was the room heat/air was difficult to figure out and a ceiling or table fan would have been nice to help circulate the air. Overall, I definately recommend this hotel.

We loved the location of this hotel in the heart of Luxembourg City near so many great restaurants! The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is loud at night, especially on weekends, and gets hot in the rooms. Other than that, great experience!

Great breakfast and friendly staff. The lobby and hallways are nicely decorated. The hotel has an older style and has furniture from another era. If you are looking for an elegant atmosphere, different from modern hotels, while still being comfortable, this hotel won’t disappoint. I recommend to book a city view room. There was a fresh apple for every guest in the room every day. I had an issue with the room that I was checked in and although I had to ask for it to be looked into, staff were very accommodating and resolved the issue. The location is excellent for sightseeing and enjoying the city.

Es un hotel antiguo, anticuado, viejo. Si esas experiencias te gustan, pues aquí lo encontrarás desde el primer mueble hasta el baño. No hay servicio habitaciones. La vista de nuestra habitación muy bonita, hacía esquina y miraba hacia el Puente Adolfo. Está céntrico. Todo lo bonito para ver le queda cerca.
