Eenvoudig, prima hotel aan het strand

De belangstelling voor de (ervaring van de) gasten bij vertrek. Dit ontbrak bij uitchecken
Locatie: Strand en zee zijn heerlijk. Wandel- en fietsroutes langs zee en in nabije, prachtige Tramuntanaheuvels. Fraaie stadjes Pollenca en Alcudia dichtbij.
Romantic is een prettig, eenvoudig hotel, goed gelegen aan de boulevard, met prima strand voor de deur en op makkelijke loopafstand van het dorpscentrum. De openbare ruimtes zijn leuk eigentijds ingericht, de bar en terras met zeezicht zien er uitnodigend uit.
De kamers hebben een prima inrichting en worden dagelijks netjes schoongemaakt. De kamers hebben als duidelijke pluspunten; -de bedden zijn lang en liggen prima, -de douche hangt hoog genoeg voor mensen van 1.90m, -de linnenkast bevat ruim voldoende lig- en hangruimte. Nadeel is de gehorigheid van de kamers.
Het personeel is vriendelijk op een wat ouderwetse, afstandelijke manier, het merendeel spreekt voldoende Engels. De kwaliteit van het eten is laag; bij het ontbijt zijn weinig verse producten aanwezig, de kwaliteit van een diner was ronduit slecht. In het dorpscentrum zijn wel diverse prima restaurants aanwezig.

Fabulous hotel looking onto the beach staff very friendly. Use of nearby pool was great and the breakfast was good

Breakfast not good
Geplaatst op 28 okt. 2023 op HotelsStayed 3 nights. Good choice of breakfast but stuck to fruit and cereal on the first morning. The coffee from the machine was dreadful. On the second morning I thought I would try the cooked breakfast. There was none available in the buffet section. The hotel was closing the next day. Stuck to fruit and cereal again and then suddenly a member of staff came out with a plate of beans, tomato, fried egg, scrambled egg, sausage and something resembling bacon. It was truly awful and looked as though it had been left from the day before. I skipped breakfast on the third and final morning. On checking out when I mentioned this the lady told me I should have been offered a choice which would have been freshly made.

Woul not stay again.

Breakfast was terrible, coffee undrinkable, no decaf, and despite great weather we were not allowed to eat outside, which seemed very petty. Also whilst this hasn't affected my review the adults only policy gave the dining area a nursing home feel, and I wouldn't book one again.

The building is made in such a compact way that you can hear absolutely everything. Whether it's the cleaning staff moving around all the furniture and banging everything at 7am, the kitchen staff clanking dishes and silverware around at from 8am to 11am, or your neighbors either taking a shower or watching TV at night... You will hear every single little thing!
