It is a little run down. If they have a cleaning service coming in they are not doing a good job there was left over stuff in the freezer, Fridge and the bathroom had used items in it. (hand soap and a bath scrub). One of the big things that I think they could do is make sure the renter get the information for checking in and checking out at least a couple of days before hand. when I did reach out to them they did give me the answers. We did not have the wifi code and couldn't find it anywhere in the cottage. I think it would be helpful if they had a note, sign or something with the wifi code and what they would want done at check out where they want the key put, garbage, bedding and towels. I feel that this was a cottage that isn't used all the time and it smelled like a camp that has been closed up. I was fine with it because it brought back fond memories for me. It dose need update. but it was an ok place for us to stay.
