Fantastisch resort, alles wat je van de Malediven verwacht krijg je hier! Prachtig huisje, geweldige faciliteiten, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, kraakhelder water, wit strand en nog veel meer moois.

Geweldig resort met relaxte sfeer.
Mooi eiland met zeer mooie faciliteiten en erg vriendelijk personeel. Hier draait alles om de klant en dat merk je. De sfeer in het resort is "casual" en dat is erg prettig. Als je wilt kun je een week lang op blote voeten of je slippers lopen. De tuinen, wegen (zandpaden) en "natuur" worden continu keurig onderhouden en dat geeft het eiland een nette uitstraling. Ook de villa's worden goed onderhouden en zien er keurig uit. Een kapotte jaccuzi was binnen 15 minuten gemaakt. Het eten in de restaurants was fantastisch. Vooraf had ik, door eerdere ervaringen in andere hotels, mijn bedenkingen over all inclusive. Dat was hier onterecht. De buffetten voor ontbijt, lunch en diner zijn zeer uitgebreid en divers. Als je dat niet wilt hoef je hier een week lang geen twee keer hetzelfde te eten. En alles is even smaakvol. Het personeel is overal even beleefd en behulpzaam. Ze doen echt hun best om je in de watten te leggen. Je krijgt het gevoel dat er voor je gezorgd wordt en dat je helemaal niets hoeft te doen, heerlijk! Faciliteiten, voor zover gebruikt, zijn prima. Er zijn twee recepties, twee zwembaden (waarvan één voor kinderen), een voetbalveld, volleybalveld, tennisbanen, gym, spa, museumpje, bibliotheekje, twee giftshops, een kinderopvang, gamerooms met oa biljart en tafelvoetbal, yoga, duikshop, watersport, teveel om op te noemen. Wifi op het hele eiland. Op sommige plekken wat traag, in de villa's prima. Kortom, een fantastisch resort waar niets op aan te merken is!

Very nice holiday experience on meeru island. Children friendly and a lot of activities. Beautiful view, Friendly staffs, restaurants are ok. The complains I had are about the airport representatives and hotel welcome receptionist. We had to wait for almost a hour long till there's someone showing up at their airport counter59 after three times of confirmation upon our arrival. Further, when we finally arrive hotel by boat transport at 10pm, the reception lady (Asian lady with a bit wight) was not "hospitality" at all, everything we asked she was kinda of annoyed. Well, after long travel and arriving the first evening at meeru was not pleasant, after that was only getting better. Friendly house keeper, restaurant service was good, telephonist was good, excursion was wonderful! We had paid tour of turtles trip, but I have to say that for beginners housereef tour is by far the best. Meeru housereef is close by, long reefs, far more fishes and the sport guide are all very friendly and professional! Overall, nice holiday at meeru!

Paradise on earth
It was amazing. The island was bigger than I thought. There was so much to do. As an all-inclusive guest, you can do some things for free, which was nice. So eventually it was not a relaxing holiday, but more an intense holiday (which is very positive!). The watervilla was beautiful too.

Relax, Relax, Relax and a fantastic place on Earth
Fantastic experience in a fantastic place on Earth. Everything said about the Maledives is simply true, it is (on of the) paradises on Earth. Extensive range on the Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. We were there for a week and the food didn't bore us! We had the Water Jacuzzi Villa, more expensive then the other Villas, but we believe it was definitely worth the extra money as you can go into the lagune from your Villa, you have more privacy (own sundeck) and you can enjoy the beautiful marine live from your sundeck (day and night). For flight tips, be aware that the boats from and to the Islands serve roughly between 7 AM and 15 PM, so advice to do your flight arrival at Maledives before 15 PM and your leave not later then 19-20 PM (as the airport is very very small and you don't want to spend there +4 hours!)

Wat hebben we een heerlijke vakantie gehad in het prachtige Meeru resort. Blauwe stranden, tophotel, heerlijk eten (afwisselend in buffetvorm). We hadden all in geboekt, vond het enige minpuntje dat koffie verkeerd en cappuccino apart moesten worden betaald.

Les mots me manquent pour décrire la semaine passée sur place. Je suis certaine que le paradis ressemble à cet endroit. Nous avons logé dans une villa jacuzzi sur l'eau. Le confort et le pratique était au rdv. Les différents repas étaient variés et excellents ! Le personnel est adorable et au petit soin. Quant à l'organisation concernant notre arrivée à l'aéroport et le transfert au moment du départ : 10/10. Tout était parfait ! Tout était merveilleux ! Un point négatif tout de même : le retour à la réalité ahah. Après avoir vécu un séjour aussi merveilleux, pas évident de retourner à notre quotidien. Courage !

Had in INCREDIBLE stay at this resort and cannot recommend it enough! My husband and I stayed for 6 nights in an overwater villa and our only regret is not staying longer. The island itself is spectacular with gorgeous beaches spanning the entire coastline. One side of the island is best for snorkeling with the surrounding reef, which is where the overwater villas are. The other side is reef-free, ideal for swimming without having to pay much attention to your surroundings. We saw an abundant amount of sea life from our room: reef sharks, sting rays, turtles, squid and countless fish species. The buffet food was fabulous - they do a great job catering to any preference. We had our wedding photos/video done through the resort and we were blown away by the quality. Also had my hair and makeup done at the spa for one of our photoshoots, which turned out fabulous! It takes about 30 minutes to run around the island, so there's plenty of space to roam. I miss Meeru already!!

娘2人と3人で、3泊、水上ビラに宿泊。マレ空港から約1時間で着くリゾートホテル。島全体がとても綺麗に整備されていて、スタッフがフレンドリーで親切、丁寧。オールインクルーシブならではの対応で、最高！ 娘が雨女なので、天気は良くなかったのですが、それでも、海の中には魚がたくさんいたし、プールでもゆったり泳げて、プールサイドバーでも美味しいお酒とスナックをいただき、満足！サメやエイにも会えました！ 英語があまり喋れない私たちにも丁寧に対応してくれる、スタッフがいて、仲良くしてくれ、不便なかったです。 食事も日替わりで、美味しくいただきました。昼前に到着し、ランチok.帰る時も夕方だったので、ランチやバーの利用もok! シュノーケルセットは有料ですが、リーフには無料で連れて行ってくれるし、水上ビラからも楽しめます。 サンセットクルーズでは、サンセットは雲に隠れて見れなかったけれど、たくさんのイルカたちに会えて幸せなひと時を過ごせました！ 今度は、夫やその他の家族で行かないです！

This is a piece of paradise on earth! My wife & I spent there 11 days honeymoon and it was much higher than my expectations, everything was perfect specially the service & food. The whole island is unbelievably clean as well. We felt there that everyone working in the resort is there to serve you and make you happy. Special thanks to Imad our restaurant guy who took care of us and was extremely polite & bubbly to me & my wife. In fact the whole north restaurant staff was extremely nice, the chefs are true artists! The massage was perfect too. The excursion is amazing! What else can I say? We can't wait to come back in few years! I can't imagine a better place than this in the whole world! VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: I respect more any business when I find workers living in good condition. I loved how employees are living the best life, they got their own leasure spaces where they can gather and have fun when they're not working! Much much respect!

Meeru is a great resort and I will definitely recommend it to family and friends. We were spending 5 nights with my wife for our honeymoon and the staff and members are amazing. Positive: The food is delicious, and they have different themes on dinner nights Unfortunately I could not try the Mexican but the others were delicious, always with a lot of variety and options. The water villas are awesome, you never know who is going to be your neighbor during the night it can be a turtle, baby nurse sharks (maybe bigger), or a stingray. The installations are in great condition, you can easily walk through the island but also you can call a "buggy" if you want them to take you to a specific place. Negative: We felt, the prices of activities out of the "ALL INCLUDED PLAN" are quite expensive, I am grateful to EXPEDIA for the discount and credit they gave us, I had discounts on excursions and $100 credit on beverages and food. My wife and I were very grateful and we will definitely keep be loyal customers to EXPEDIA. The gift shop also has expensive prices. The resort has 3 restaurants and the best one is "Hot Rock" our dinner was delicious. We also tried the "Asian Wok" but unfortunately we do not have positive comments to say about this experience, sorry but I will not recommend this restaurant. In general, Meeru was an excellent resort for our honeymoon, we were extremely happy with the staff in the restaurants and the ones in the excursions because they were always taking care us

Perfect end to a Honeymoon
We visited Meeru on our honeymoon and it really is a paradise! We didn’t realise that for the snorkel trips you need to bring your own snorkels so remember to rent them from the dive centre at $10 a day which is well worth it as you can snorkel from the beach as well and see plenty! The food is amazing and if you can, book the beach dinner on the Friday as the buffet was superb! The evening entertainment when we were there wasn’t to our taste as it was a little bit slow but we think they may just be the laid back vibe of the Maldives.

We knew as soon as we got off the speedboat that Meeru was something special. The staff are always polite and were on top of things. Special thanks to Azidh! He is an awesome waiter and always took care of us with a smile. The water is beautiful. We actually preferred the beach on the children's pool side despite staying in an over the water villa on the adult side. A highlight for me was the bioluminescent plankton that glows like xmas lights. Ask the staff which side of the island is the best for this because it changes. Good diving with EuroDivers. Andrea and his crew run a tight ship. My wife enjoyed the spa and we both enjoyed the food.
