This was my 3rd stay in this past (Covid) year and I must admid it was better last 2 times!
Friendly and professional welcome but had to mention myself that (gold status) I was entitled to some complimentary bonuses...
The upgrade came trough but still had to asked for my free bottle of wine... twice! I wonder why it is so hard to get a bottle of white wine when you don't drink red? Last 2 visits they changed the red wines for a bottle of Prosecco without any problems... Some people don't like red wine! These little bonuses are a big influence when I choose a hotel!
The Spa was open, unfortunately the steam room was out of order and so most of the jets on the "jacuzzi" side of the pool, why offering complimentary tea in the spa when the cups are missingN (twice!) I believe the whole spa is in need of a good makeover, still I enjoyed the little time I spent. This hotel offers a good BF buffet, now with Corona rules a little trickier as normal. But on Sunday it was a total disaster because way to many guests wanted to have their BF as late as possible, the cleaning staff couldn't keep up cleaning used tables for waiting guests.... Solution could be later opening on Sunday or more staff? Ofcourse this was August! The problem I had with the room was the AC, for some reason I was unable to set the temperature to what I liked, I believe the thermostat was broken? It was always very cold! I did forget to complain about this because I only remembered this during the nights....
