OK, but not worth the price, a bit disappointing
It was OK, but not great. It seems that customer service and concierge options are not something they prioritize, which was what I'd like to expect in such expensive 5 star hotels. (and which is the standard in most 5 star hotels anyway) Though the hotel itself is beautiful they definitely should work on there guest services, customer service and the attitude of the staff (which is a common complaint of foreigners traveling in Southern Europe). I understand that Milan is popular and that visitors will come anyway but it would benefit them in the long term if they would better accommodate a guests requests, wishes and problems. Most staff are too self centered that they seem to forget that it's the guests who are actually paying for their salaries. The cleaning ladies were an exception, they work really hard and did a good job! The square in front of the hotel, and most other places in the center of Milan looked like a militarized zone with tanks, soldiers and Ak47'sa all arounds. Huge populations of shady people, refugees and homeless people everywhere in the center, not a place you would let your daughter walk around alone at night. The churches and cathedrals are breathtaking on the other hand.

Heel erg goed hotel (en ik ben kritisch en kom in heel veel hotels!). Enige minpuntje is de afstand tot het centrum maar dat is slechts 5 min per taxi of per hotel Maserati!

I am so disappointed, I booked a room in this hotel with a lot of time in advance, and planned to stay there with my friends, but when the day came, I was told that they couldn’t provide me with a room and they told me two different stories as of “why”. This proved that they simply decided to cancel my reservation, probably for someone that payed a last minute over priced room. I will never come back to this hotel, nor I recommend it as it was an inconvenience for our trip logistics and no one cared. Very dissatisfied with how they handled things. If I would have canceled, they wouldn’t refund my money, but in this case, they didn’t wanted to refund my money. Very unprofessional!

Poor treatment received upon check in. I called at 7am that morning to request a room with two beds. I was with my mother and arrived at 12:00pm our room was not ready until 4pm. After being told it would be ready at 2:00pm. I am a titanium member and was treated rudely by front desk manager and then screamed at by the front desk staff when I asked for a water while waiting. Caused me to miss an important meeting that was scheduled in advance.

The lighting in the room was a problem. When you turn off "all" the lights... there are dozens of very bright LEDs that you can not turn off. On both sides of the bed, the TV, the HVAC unit on the wall, and when you make even the slightest movement in the room, automatically the bathroom lights turn on and so does the "night lights".... Not good when you are trying to sleep. Sleep should be fulfilled in a dark room, not one with dozens of lights. Additionally, the main light in the ceiling wouldn't turn off as it was supposed to. It just stayed on. I called the front and they spoke to me like I was dumb/confused "you just turn the light off and it goes off" - then I explained and they sent maintenance. Took them 30 minutes to get someone to the room at 11 PM when we were trying to sleep. Then he wasn't able to fix the light and told us to "wait until tomorrow" we slept with the light on all night. We stayed at this hotel for 1 night and this was our experience in the room... Also, no Netflix or streaming. Just basic news tv channels. The hotel was nice, but the staff, the lighting, and the tv in the room have lots of opportunity for improvement.

Staff was very accommodating and helpful. The concierge had great recommendations. Would not recommend the restaurant or bar food but otherwise the hotel was great!
