Ibis suited our purpose. Hotel is clean and staff is nice. However, every day our card deactivated and had to get recoded. And the hairdryer doesn’t work for more than 1-2 minutes at a time. These are minor issues. Pluses are good nearby pizza, shuttle bus to/from airport ($5) to catch train into Milan and a decent breakfast buffet. Thank you for our stay!

Neat and clean. Reasonable room rates! Too far from Milan city and they charge too much for shuttle to airport. Easily count €5 extra per perso. each time you go airport which is just 5 mins away. If planning to just go airport and stay a night then it’s worth it.

Not such a great place to stay at all
Not good at all, the money you save is spent on late check out charges, shuttle charges euro 5 per person one way, and after 9 am 25 euro per room one way, nothing to eat nearby.

Reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was ok for 1 night near the airport but i wouldn't want to stay any longer. Breakfast was awful! Pastries were burnt to charcoal.

Per noi si tratta ormai di un punto di riferimento quando dobbiamo prendere un volo a Malpensa. Quasi ci sentiamo a casa qui all'Ibis Hotel. Trovato quasi per caso la prima volta, ora veniamo sempre qui.

We stayed at this hotel for its convenient location to the airport. The airport shuttle costs $5 per person and needs to be scheduled in advance. The shuttle doesn’t pick up at the airport though. The hotel is clean, the rooms are basic but fine for a layover stay. The breakfast had a good selection of pastries, cheeses and meats. There is not much in the area around the hotel but guests of this hotel can use the restaurant and pool at the neighboring hotel. Negatives: The shower door was broken and we were not able to move one side of it. Also, the room key wouldn’t open our door unless we tried many many times. It didn’t help getting a new key.

Not What It Used To Be
1. shuttle only runs some of the day for €5. During the other hours it costs €25. 2. the restaurant is only open for breakfast. Otherwise you need to go to the Novotel (only 2-3 mins walk) 3. bartender not helpful when asked questions 4. the a/c didn't work well, so room remained warm. It used to be a great place to stay, I've stayed there a few times over the past decade or so. It is convenient to MXP and used to have comfortable beds and excellent and friendly service. I don't know if COVID hit it hard, but I won't be staying there again.
