Rooms are okay if you’re just passing by on a short layover. However service is just plain poor and when things get complicated the staff’s knowledge of the English language suddenly disappears.
The airport shuttle was waiting to pick us up from La Tontouta International Airport, but made us wait for over an hour to pick up other passengers who were staying in other hotels. The shuttle is expensive so you might be better off taking a regular (private) taxi after a long flight. Especially since the shuttle will set you back over 6000 XPF for two persons, which is comparable to local taxi fares.
We had requested another airport shuttle to the domestic Magenta Airport the next morning. Initially the receptionist acted like they never received the request, later on we were told they didn’t arrange a shuttle because we were the only ones. We took a taxi and found out that a taxi to Magenta Airport is only 1000 XPF instead of the 4200 XPF Le Paris would have charged us for an shuttle to Magenta Airport.
To top it all off Le Paris decided to charge us 400 XPF for trying to find us a taxi, 100 XPF for each call....
There are plenty of options in the area, so I recommend you consider other hotels unless Le Paris has a great offer. Even in that case it’s only worth a penny if you have to catch a flight or ferry the next day. There’s a bed and a shower, but don’t expect any service at all.
